Jeff was amazing at coachella, but he took my breath away last night. The intensity in his face and how well he stretches his vocals is just remarkable. Hearing thos NMH songs just with him and occasional accompaniment gave some an entirely new meaning to me. I think we are just really lucky to have Jeff back in the buisniess and I hope some new material is around the corner.

I don't think his show does very well outdoors. I wasn't impressed at all either weekend...

I am excited for The Fonda show, in hopes the different setting will make the show a lot more ambient.

I also don't see it being as brutal as sigur ros. On top of the cemetery show going on sale a number of their other tour dates were also available at the time same time.

Nice to meet everyone last night at Mangum. There were two wasted guys sitting in front of me and Andrew, one of whom was shrieking along to the first song (Two headed boy). Everyone shushed him. By the end of the show they were both asleep in their chairs.

Thanks for the Andrew Bird heads-up. Back in 2008(ish) I had second row seats for one of his shows in New York but I got the flu the night of and had to miss it. I've never been able to catch one of his shows since. Really awesome seats at the Greek should make up for it!

well good luck to everyone tomorrow for the Weeknd. I liked his sets both weekends but I think weekend #2 he let it go more since he had kinda gotten the jitters out. I would like to see him in indoors as well though Richard. Still no what you need either, stumped me on that one.

Also, whatever happened to DZ Deathrays @ the echo? I just looked on ticketweb and the echo show is non existent BUT they do have a show now at the constellation room in Santa Ana 7/5. Is this taking the place of the echo show somehow? Cause I don't think that constellation room show was on the original tour announcement.
