Youth Lagoon was lovely tonight. He played every track off of his debut. Porcelain Raft was the opener and absolutely slayed.

Have I? I think it's probably a combination of it being extremely fucking slow at work, not going to Coachella, being sick for over a week, and my girlfriend being out of town. Boo hoo hoo

Youth Lagoon were really great tonite...better than the last time I saw them. The guitar player is now more integrated into the music and no longer comes across as a hired gun. I am so grateful to have heard them in the Indy. That likely won't happen again for a long time. Cannot wait for new material!

Porcelain Raft were also quite good. Wasn't sure what to expect and they totally delivered. The main guy did a great job creating a very full sound with all his pedals and effects. A very satisfying evening of music. Big things ahead for both these bands, I predict.

Btw...really fucking weird to be posting about a show while Coachella is going on. A first for me. No regrets, but still strange.
