So I just finished reading Heavier Then Heaven in my office today instead of going to a mandatory meeting. I have to say that is one of the best books I have ever read. But I digress. WHen Nirvana was performing unplugged, Kurt Cobain refused to go onstage without Herion. All the producers and everyone was looking for it and could not find any so they gave him a strong opiate, I forgot what it was called, but it had the same effect as herion.

After I read that I had to play that album on my Ipod and it hit me. That has to be my favorite music story.

Anyone else have any cool obscure music stories like that?

I dont have any cool obscure stories like that but I did want to comment on the book. I read it as well, probably 2 years ago now (wow, time flys). Anyway. I also thought it was amazing. The part that hit me the most is when they (dealers) were afraid to have a rockstar OD in their house so they left him out in his shitty car that was for sale with his home phone number on it... thats crazy.

the part i liked most about that book is how kurt was just a big fuckin poser. pretending he hated how popular his band was, and then turning around and complaining to his label that his videos werent getting enough rotation on mtv.

god he was such a pussy. waaah..my stomach hurts, so im gonna use that as an excuse to be a heroin junky. waaah...i have the world at my fingertips, but somehow my life still sucks so bad that im just gonna say fuck you to everybody who cares about me and kill myself. good job bitch.
