yea, Between the 10th and the 11th is one of my top ten favorite albums. it still sounds fresh 15 years later!
Their set was perfect. Wonderland had just came out. There was video of that performance on YouTube but it's grainy and does no justice to the actual performance.
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
I'm very old as you know and have seen all of them excluding Oasis ~(coincidence?). But if I had to chose at this point I'd probably say The Verve because I don't think they would sound quite as outdated as some of the others. A very close second would be Pulp but hope you get both.
I'm surprised at the lack of love for the Roses. That debut was absolutely mindblowing when it came out; think of AF's Funeral x100 and you will get an idea.
+1 for The Charlatans. Seen 'em 3x and they're always good.
id rather have the stereophonics vs any of those
