    Untrue.

My archive is quite large, I just don't re-visit the other ones all that often.

So brando, ever find that G&D set I mentioned? The intro is acapella Maynard. Mmmmmmmm, acapella Maynard. Then it subtly transitions into a nice progressive house track.

    Great thread.

I was actually there for that Gabriel and Dresden Nikki Beach set, it was, as you've mentioned - fantastic.

I'd love a link to it if you can set it up.

    My most listened to are

    1. the 1998 Air sets that later came to be known as "Deck Safari"
    2. Booka Shade's half live/half mix set that was for me and still is the best way to get into them.
    3. 2ManyDJs from I don't know when. It starts with Rebel Rebel.
    4. The first 40 or so minutes of the Justice EM. This set trailed off at the end but the beginning was just unbelievably on the ball. Playing France Gall, Hall and Oates and peaking with that tight Data/Tepr is just such an awesome departure from their live set.

(P.S. - It's not an EM but the John Peel Underworld Live Set is an unflappable classic)

I think I have the full Justice I Love Techno set somewhere around here. But you should note - the second half is not as good as the first. It sounds a lot like a standard Justice set from that time with the Fatboy Slim "Renegade Master" mix and all the other staples.

Crazzz. do you have the 50+ min (54 mins I think) version? It's the longest one I could find. It sounds like the complete set.

*Edit, just saw Misscorrection's post. No renegade master track on the one I've got so mine is incomplete. Still kicks ass though.

ya, it's one of my all time favorites. the second half is very different than the first.

this is a mix that you definitely need to listed to with good speakers or a good headphone, especially the first half because there are so many different sounds and layers.

I think I've listened to this at least 50 times. I recommend it to people every chance I get. As a side note, it was voted 2006 Essential Mix of the Year.

I highly recommend his 2006 record, The Last Resort.

Also, his just recently released 2-disc compilation, The Trentemoller Chronicles, is a great introduction to his work. It includes his own past productions as well as remixes, as well as some new songs.

Trentemoller played a live set at avalon just a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I couldn't make it.

Sounds interesting. Any chance anyone can De-mixing bowl the Kuduro mix for me?

    I... got kicked out.

On another note, I'm willing to bet the popularity of that video gets the man in said video laid a lot.

I was skeptical of this, so I Googled it, and found no evidence of a BBC Radio one essential mix by Mogwai. Are you sure its an Essential Mix?

That's a tough bill, but I daresay a Laurent Garnier mix from before 2005 might fit the bill.

His "The Man With The Red Face" might be the funkiest/jazziest house track of all time.

Listening to the first half now. VERY good, sans the Chris Isaac tune.
