Its because fucking Rare is owned by Microsoft now. TERRIBLE choice on Rares part if you ask me.
Banjo-Kazooie is my favorite game of all time. So I was very upset when Rare left Nintendo. I think Rares games were much better suited for Nintendo rather than Microsoft. IMO

There was a really sweet article about the late 80's-90's console wars on Digg recently. Part of the article talked about how Rare single handedly save Nintendo and the things they were doing at the time were so revolutionary that it blew everyones mind at Nintendo.

They had Wii's onsale at Amazon tonight at midnight.....for about 10 minutes. I could have got one but didnt pull the trigger on it. I am too indecisive.

I just got a 360 yesterday...got the Pro bundle (w/ Forza 2/Ultimate Alliance) and a free extra controller for $349. Plus I bought Halo 3. And I just picked up Rock Band.

I have a 360, and i love it. I wanted a PS3 more at first because i really loved my PS2, but it has yet to grab me like the PS2 did. I didn't get an orginal XBox until Halo 2 and even then i didn't use it nearly as much, same for my gamecube. I want to get a wii so bad, i have a great time with my friends. I just think the 360 has more titles i want to play at the moment, plus gta4 will be better on the 360. I want the PS3 to succeed and i want a reason to get one but i haven't had one yet. Although MGS4 looks really good, but that would come out on the 360 a year later or so.

PSPs are what... (or will be) $139.99 for xmas? That's not that much for that hardware - not in the least.

IF you meant PS3 - they are NOT a lot either - for what you get. ($399) Hell, most Blu Ray players are at least that much by themselves.

Yeah, I meant PS3. I still think 500 for the 80GB is too much. I know you get a Blue ray player as well, but I just can't bring myself to pay that much for a game system. When it comes down to it I don't care if it makes coffee and is an alarm clock, it's main usage in my house is gonna be for gaming. I just can't do it yet. BUT!!, I'm close to it. My friend let me borrow his last week while he was out of town. Wow man, Rainbow 6 was a lot of fun.

In March, it will be a year since the PS3 came out in the UK. It will also be a year since i switched mine on.
