Picked up one of these today. Traded in a load of old games and had nothing to pay too.

I would turn it on and off so often to hear the R2 noises. Kind of want. Too much effort to trade in my current system etc.
jealous. i really like the look of that system.

For any of you guys that have a 3DS: There is an excellent game on the Nintendo Store called Colors! 3D with which you can draw 3D things. It's a very good little program (for about $6) that can make some extremely detailed images, despite the small screen. You can switch between like 5 layers, I think - maybe 6 - and do some cool kind of depth pictures. What's very cool is that you can connect it to the internet and upload videos of your drawings - as well as see other people's drawings. You can "like" other drawings, and you can also comment on them.
Here is a silly drawing that I made: http://colorslive.com/details/64800-...mojavetent.php
Hopefully that link works. I don't know if it is only viewable on my account or something like that. It looks even better if you can view it on a 3DS, because it is 3D.
EDIT: Here is the picture I made, but if you click the above link, you can see a video of it being drawn.

never would've seen this coming.

Max Payne to rampage on iOS April 12th, Android April 26th
Are you a smartphone user with an itchy trigger finger? Listen up. Rockstar Games has announced that the one and only Max Payne will begin terrorizing your iOS and Android devices in the very near future. The wares will be available for Apple-branded gear (iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S, along with the iPod touch 4 and all iPad iterations) on April 12th, and Google's implements two weeks later on the 26th. Max Payne Mobile is promising to deliver HD graphics, high resolution textures and exclusive content via the company's Social Club service to your miniaturized screen. Rockstar did not elaborate on which Android sets would be supported, but promised to publish a full list "in the coming weeks." Limber up those thumbs, charge up that handset and get ready to lay waste to... pretty much anything that moves.

Can't wait to die hundreds more times and chuck my controller at the wall in anger
Got an invite to the Diablo 3 beta last night.
Played around with it for an hour or two today... really enjoying it so far.
Any one picking up The Witcher 2 for 360?
Fez is amazing, until you get close to finishing up the remaining puzzles and realize that they hid most of the games hardest cubes behind a series of tedious ciphers. The music is fantastic. The 1st ending I got was awesome. I enjoyed the game a ton. I am however not in the mood to sit here and try to figure out the FEZ language so I can them go around and figure out what things say, and what button combos I need to press. It's would be charming if there wasn't SO DAMN MUCH of it. Fucking stupid.
FEZ is an awesome game.
heads up for anyone wanting to try Diablo 3. Free open beta this weekend only.

Thank, YOU!
Those designs have some appeal, an R2D2 Xbox! Like the controller too. Wonder where such a trade is possible, don't know if I have enough games available but I'm such a holder anyway unless I gift them.
Besides I did receive a 360 last year, although not Kinect'd. SW would be incentive enough, yet I've heard of some issues about it. Usually scant reviews don't get as technical as I want so it makes you wonder whether the 'ware has reached limitations or wasn't prepared enough to meet expectations. Still hope it's a good time.
Diablo III has been cool, but it's also been very much like Torchlight. Even more than how Torchlight is like Diablo II. I think it might be too expensive for what it is, but then again, I've been waiting like 10 years for this. I've been playing as a demon hunter. I still haven't reached the end of the beta, but I believe that point is drawing near. I'm at least pleased that my computer is able to handle it - although, when I quit the game the past couple times, my computer screen went black and I had to hold down the power button.
I wish to duel you Alchemy!
Also, we should play a multiplayer Civ V game sometime, although my computer occasionally crashes.
I finally beat Skyward Sword. I loved it. I was surprised at how big of a game it actually was, because when I saw that it had only three areas, I figured it was going to be a short game. But there was a good amount of dungeons, and the bosses battles were the most exciting I've had in a Zelda game. I also liked the system of being able to improve your items - making it a little bit more like an RPG, but without actually making it an RPG.
I thought the motion play worked quite well. Obviously, there is still room for improvement. I would need to recalibrate often, but luckily it was as easy as pulling up the gear screen and centering the remote. Still, the sword swings weren't always 1:1. At least, not in speed. The sword would move in the direction I wanted, but I often had trouble because Link was still completing sword swings while I was trying to make him do a backflip away from danger (and he will not cancel swings that you've made). But nothing took too much away from the experience.
I thought the story was really cool. It wasn't too far from Ganondorf kidnapping the princess so that he can sacrifice her for his evil magic, or something like that, but it was cool in how it was a kind of origin story for the three of them. I thought that Groose was going to be tied to Ganondorf somehow.
Anyway, I pre-ordered Diablo III. Cannot wait!
Added four games to my collection, got an extra diddy kong racing but I think my buddy wants it...
Collection is gettting fatter... I'm looking for 007 golden eye and Conker's bad fir day...

Fuck seeing some of those games depressed me. Shadows of the Empire was such an amazing game. I was floored by the variety in the game and how it flowed with the narrative but the boss fights were what really got me, they were so...dramatic I guess, taking down a AT-ST, fighting Boba Fett. Fighting IG-88 was one of the first times I remember actually being frightened by a video game. Of course the original John Williams soundtrack also helped a lot.
You baller. 1080, Hangtime, Perfect Dark... OG Madden and other sports games. I miss my N64 as well, I can't remember what happened to it.. I fear sold
