haha. couldn't resist
they seem to be taking this in a different direction this year. though there are 4 acts on that list I wouldn't mind seeing, they seem to have really gotten away from the alt-country piece they had last year.
May I direct you all here?
Im guessing Coachella info will come at the the same time it usualy does...Promoter Paul Tollett of the Los Angeles-based Goldenvoice company said the Stagecoach artists are being announced earlier this year to give families time to plan for a vacation. Unlike Coachella fans, who he said will drop what they’re doing to hear the music in Indio, Stagecoach fans are more likely to rent an RV and plan for a three-day weekend.
thats no excuse tom

I wanna go this coming year. I want some BBQ
Just for posting that you have to go to the Stagecoach and report to us on every artists and you must personally try out every activity...
I vote for the entire "American" food section of concessions to be nothing but BBQ at Stagecoach AND Coachella.
The tri-tip and brisket were awesome this year.
Remember when someone said there was going to be "American", "European", and "Pan-Asian/South of the Border" sections and nobody believed the poor guy?
Who knows, we'll see. I want to be able to walk to the other stages with no crowda cause they are all sheep and camp out on the Mane stage.
And tickets are only 2 day tickets, nice move GV. Wish I could get in on the pre sale though........ That would save lots of $$
I wanna see me some Judds, come on. Oh and hot country girls, they do exist I am sure.
I also want to do the hayride, line dance and of course the Lasso Clinic and live auctions. I woudl totally film those guys selling like some weird southwestern statue for $35.08 and he would blurt out the bids in 51 seconds.
Right right............... Oh, and I would totally not dress country, I would find some t shirt I own that would make people stare at me all day while I was rocking out to some tunes.
I usually post flyers for shows I am going to around my office and I posted Stagecoach just because it's Goldenvoice and the main comment was, "Wow, bands I've actually heard of" and "I might go to that".
This coming from the people who said the following comments.
Wasn't that Radiohead song "Creep" originally done by "TLC"?
Panic at the Disco and Widespread Panic aren't the same band?
Peter Gabriel left Genesis because Phil Collins got mad at him because he was tired of being a back up singer.
Didn't that guy Pete Entwistle from the Who die?
Isn't Josh Ritter the son of John Ritter?
You really have no interest in coming with us to Michael Buble? You're serious?
I could go on but my brain will explode if I type any more...
Post more, when your brain wont explode. My co workers are about the same, but I never mention anything.
quoted from someone I met at UVA, when I asked him if he liked radiohead. he had obviously NEVER heard them.
"I'm not into that kind of punk rock. I'm more hardcore, basically if they sound like Fall Out Boy, i'll love it."
He then went on about how he was very excited to see F.O.B. in concert a few weeks later.
I somehow refrained from murder.
