Spreckels is pretty much the best venue of this bunch for them, IMO. I did love the Shrine though for the AF shows. Thanks for the link!

I fucking hate the Shrine.
Cause he probably went to HARD and doesnt know there is a nice theater attached to it.
I might make a small trip out of the San Diego show. Get a hotel for the night, during the day hit up Sea World and the Zoo, go to the show and bar hopping at night.
bon iver sux
12/1 Stooges-Palladium
12/12 Jay-z & Kanye -Staples Center
12/15 Black Star- Club Nokia
So explain how what I have listed below makes him look ''unpopular'' and ''too small'' for the venues he is playing?
United Palace Theater - NYC
Capacity: 3,293
SOLD OUT
Chicago Theater
Capacity: 3600
SOLD OUT
Riverside Theatre - Milwaukee, WI
Capacity:2,460
Night 2 SOLD OUT
Night 1 almost sold out
Let them think it Chris. Less people trying at on-sale time.
I wouldnt worry about the onsale too much.
Considerign last time Bon Iver was here, and he performed to almost 5000 people over the course of a weekend, and that was in 09, tell me how they are far off on gauging things?
edit: oh yeah, Arcade fire played Spreckels in 07, too big for Bon Iver?

It's a lot of effort on a monday night, I agree. I like the venue though.
I love his cover of Bonnie Raitt's song titled " I can't make you love me".
His music for me is a grower, at first I wasn't too keen but after a while I loved it.

Out of interest, is Colin Stetson touring with him?
The reactions to his bit in the Youtube comments of the Colbert performance are awesome.
