Could you live with a ghost?

My old man and I finally got out of the burbs this summer and moved into an 83 year old house. We fucking love it.

Except... how do you know if you have a ghost? I'm skeptical of a lot of shit by nature but a couple of phenomenons have been observed in the 10 weeks we've been here that are starting to make me wonder. The bedroom light enjoys turning itself on and off, sometimes at the same time in the morning as if waking us up. My front door was fully open one morning five minutes after I was in the living room opening the curtains (not the door). A friend of ours claims to have seen a woman in my office window while we were sitting outside. It's not just us, either. The local bar owner informed us the entire neighborhood is rumored to be haunted.

I kinda wanna break out the ouija board (because I love scaring myself) but now my old man and everyone else is chickening out on me. I don't mind weird shit happening (as long as I don't feel phantom fingers touching me) but I'm the kinda guy that needs a solid explanation for most everything. Should I play the ouija by myself? Will this lead to demonic possession? If so, will it clear up my sinuses?

Pot, I'm not scared or paranoid of ghosts; like I said, I enjoy being creeped out. The ouija was being considered just to see what happens. I can't say I believe a flat piece of Parker Brothers particle board is a legitimate supernatural tool but the few times we've asked it stuff has been kinda fun.

My rational explanations for these phenomena are really boring. And somewhat inconclusive.

Marooko, being woken up by the overhead light at 8 am each morning is not considered leaving me alone. I consider it getting fucked with. So is my front door being wide open for my dog to book out of. Except when the door was found open, my dog was sitting in her box staring at the front door from across the room.

They have been finding all kinds of ancient Indian shit downtown since they started building our light-rail. It's common knowledge that indigenous peeps were all over this part of town a million years ago. And the oldest cemetery in the city is within walking distance from the new crib. But this doesn't mean I'm waiting for an Amityville-type experience, either.
