Gilbert Arenas may get a training camp invite with the Clippers...

I really don't know how to feel about this.

Good, the 2-3-2 was so fucking stupid to have. Yeah it made more sense 30 years ago but with each team having their own private chartered jets and what not this change should have been made a long time ago.

Good sign for the Cavs. He isn't medically cleared for contact at this point, but he's moving around well and running on a treadmill.

Russell Westbrook had a second Surgery on his Knee today because the first one didn't take. To miss all of training camp and the first 4-6 weeks of the season.

I'm sick of Bill Simmons. I don't understand why they would give him so much control over that show. His television presence needs a lot of improvement.

His TV presence isn't the best, but I'd actually side with Simmons on this one. Magic wasn't very good. At least Simmons is a basketball geek and can speak knowledgeably and passionately about everything going on in the NBA. Magic seems like more of a casual observer and never brought much, other than his name, to the broadcast.

By a long shot...I always found ESPN's NBA coverage to be especially annoying all around, with Hubie Brown being their only in-game color commentator I can stand.

It seems like sports fans don't like most broadcasters. It's kind of a tiresome complaint (even though I realize I did critique Magic Johnson).

I'm actually quite fine with most, I just find the majority of ESPN's to be obnoxious. Gruden, Berman, Van Gundy, Tommy Smyth for soccer, etc..

Yes. I watch almost all sporting events on mute. I can't stand the stupid pointless chatter.

Fake tough guy Kevin Garnett waived his no trade clause in order to go to a contender. Doc Rivers manufactured his own trade to become the coach of the Clippers (another contender). "Do as I say, not as I do."

To be fair though, Allen left on his own accord (and took a paycut), while Garnett*, Pierce, and Rivers were traded.

*though Garnett could have used his "No Trade" clause in his contract

Besides, it's fair. It's not like they share the same court flooring either.

Honestly, the Lakers need to shut the fuck up about this. The Clippers want to build their own legacy and would probably prefer to not have another franchise's history hanging over them every home game.

I love the Lakers but this is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard said. They can't handle it? They have been doing it since they have moved into staples. It has nothing to do with the Lakers history as much as they just don't want another teams shit hanging up when they play at home. I don't get why people feel this is a jab at the Lakers. If the Clippers had any banners up I am positive the Lakers would cover them up for the same reason. I am actually a bit surprised that they haven't been covering them up all along.

I'm a Lakers fan but I love what the Clippers are doing. Get them some fucking confidence, seeing as how they're going to cream the Lakers every time they play us this year. I'd love to see them actually gain a few fans.

I was kinda being a tongue in cheek pompous Lakers fan. I dont think they actually cant handle the pressure of banners hanging in a stupid arena.

Actually, I dont think the Lakers would mind about the banners if they had a promising year coming up, but they don't. By most scenarios, the Clippers will beat the Lakers in every matchup, and the Clippers will be the only LA team in the Playoffs.

Replace 'love' with 'hate' and I could have written this.

If anyone is interested in shot charts, shooting statistics and things of that nature, this site is pretty neat.

    VORPED

It also keeps tabs on refs as well. Techs per game and charge / block ratio
