Get the fuck out of here. Pacers were the better team by a landslide. Melo is a ball-stopping diva that will forever ruin any team he's on.

I'm really just not a fan of most of their roster, and the hype that goes with Steph Curry. The media was so completely bias towards Golden State throughout that entire Denver series, it was ridiculous.
They're also just another team that relies waaaaay too much on outside shooting, very streaky in both directions.

What hype about Stephen Curry to you object to? He's the best shooter in the league, whether you want to factor in form or results. He's the best shooter I've seen since Ray Allen was in his prime. Nobody is saying he's the best player in the league or anything, but he's been pretty damn good. Not even with just his shooting. He averaged over 9 assists per game against Denver.

I'll be in San Antonio for work next week, and I bought a ticket for Game 5 (provided there isn't a sweep). Can't wait. Hope the Warriors at least take one game so I can go.

Report: Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Doc Rivers to Clippers for Blake Griffin, Eric Bledsoe Deal Being ĎTalked Aboutí by NESN Staff on Mon, May 6, 2013 at 1:01PM

Feel free to take this with a grain of salt, but Stephen A. Smith is hearing rumors of a blockbuster trade between the Celtics and Clippers.

The deal that Smith brought up on First Take would reportedly send Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce to the Clippers for Blake Griffin, Eric Bledsoe, DeAndre Jordan and Caron Butler. Doc Rivers would also then sign on to coach Los Angeles. The idea behind the trade would be to keep Chris Paul from ditching the Clippers for greener pastures.

For what itís worth, the trade happens to work in the ESPN NBA Trade Machine.

Smith felt the need to clarify his remarks on First Take in a later tweet. That should tell you all you need to know about this rumored deal.

Listen: I said what's being talked about, scenarios that are being contemplated. Can't rule anything out W/ Clips/Celts. Absolutely nothing!

Yes because the Clippers need to ditch their young talent with still a ton of potential for two old past their primes who may only give CP3 one year left of playing time. Especially CP3 has done pretty much everything but sign the dotted line for his return. I read a while ago that other teams GM's weren't even looking at Paul as a serious free agent.

God I really do fucking hate Steven A. Smith. No need to bring shit like this up.

I was hearing Top 5, even a possible MVP vote or two....which is a reach. Curry is nice, and his play-making has improved, but he shouldn't be in that conversation.

The Bulls play so hard, and with so much confidence, that I thought it was silly for anyone to think it would be easy for Miami.

HI! I'm so happy right now. Let's go Bulls. Again, I don't know if they can beat the Heat four times, but they wiill sure as hell try.

Sushi! Hah. I have a ton of respect for the Bulls and Thibodeau. Anyone who has watched them over the past 2 to 3 years, while Thibodeau has been the coach, should know they aren't an easy out. Even without Rose and Deng, they have capable players who play hard and play as a team. Nate Robinson and Jimmy Butler have been more than adequate replacements. Again, it was pretty silly to think this would be easy for Miami.

I will say that I don't think the Heat will miss as many wide-open shots the rest of the series as they did in Game 1, but I can see the Bulls still pushing it to 6 or even 7 games.

Gregg Popovich was pure gold last night on Ginobili winning the game. At 3 min

And I dont think the Bulls can win the series...but wow, what a win for them. I think Miami came in over-confident that the Bulls were beat down and tired. Im glad it puts more pressure on Derrick Rose to play again....and its only going to increase the media scrutiny of him NOT playing the longer they stay in this series. I read a crazy stat on twitter about last years ACL injuries and how long players were out. Ricky Rubio was out for 280 days, Iman Shumpert was out for 290ish days, there was another that was 270-290 from last year....then it was Derrick Rose - 347 days

Shumpert and Rose got injured on the same day last year.

Yeah my days arent exact as I dont remember the exact #'s on the tweet, but how long has Shump been back playing? Point was Rose is taking longer than anybody and he has been in full contact practice but "isnt ready" to play in a game.

Rose really just needs to sack up.

If anything, just come off the bench and play 20 minutes at this point. The fact that he's been medically cleared for well over 2 months and watching his teammates drop like flies, should be enough motivation to get on the floor and throw down for the cause. I'd seriously question his mental fortitude for becoming a leader, if I was playing alongside him for the future. How could you ever trust that dude again?

His best description of his own situation has been "My muscle memory isnt letting me not think about it."

So he basically has a mental block. He has been adamant about no pain or discomfort for awhile. Just getting over this mental hump.

I would assume that if the Bulls had any hesitation, (e.g. Rose ocassionaly limping during practice etc..), they would've just announced that he is out indefinitely for the playoffs.

I couldn't imagine a situation where this current status is beneficial, unless they really think that this "smokescreen" is causing opponents to adjust their preparation. That would be pretty silly.

Right. Its all on Rose. He is the one that keeps saying "maybe" and "possibly" to every question that is asked about when/if. I have to think if he is coming back he would have to be dressed down and possibly starting for game 3 in Chicago. Imagine that boost that would give their team. Even if he just David Lee's it for a few mins (Game 6 first round).

Its not beneficial to him to keep this going on, only way I could possibly see it being good is to keep the players on his team positive about moving on and playing hard to hopefully see him back in the next game/round. Maybe he was saying all of this pre-playoffs hoping they would lose in the first round and everyone wouldnt be on him about it.
