Kaman, Odom, and Sasha? This is oughta be a real fun season...I don't think they'll tank but it's gonna be tough as shit to stay even remotely competitive with that many geezers on the roster under a fuckhead like D'Antoni. I smell a crazy trade before the season starts, wouldn't be a Kupchak off-season if it didn't happen.

Also, Metta being amnestied saves $30 mill? Dear God who would think twice about that?

Pretty sure no one will sign him without having team doctors check his knees first. So, if it's a one year, incentive-laced deal, what's the real gamble here for a team with plenty of cap space?

Team option for second year... It's essentially a one year contract. If he's injured and / or sucks, he's gone.

Plus, the salary floor virtually requires Cleveland to spend the money or disperse the difference among the other players on the roster. Again, for a team like Cleveland, it makes sense.

No money for Bynum, otherwise they probably would. Apparently though they still need to work out a buy out with Farmars Turkish team. Since he is only getting a 1 year vet min I would find it pretty funny if the buyout is more then the actual contract.

There is you PG now TheKlein, you finally happy?

Yeah, maybe for whatever Turkish team he was on. There is a reason he didn't have an NBA job.

I gotta say, I'm excited to have Jordan Farmar back, but largely because I like having Bruins on the Lakers, and because he was part of the Bruin teams I loved so much when I was there.

Same here. I've always liked Farmar's game.

Those years of UCLA dominance were fun to watch.

I'd rather have almost any other Bruin that's still in the NBA.

I still can't belive my team re-signed him (Hollins), but with all the other signings/re-signings, it's just a tiny detail I can overlook.

While we're on topic, I wanted be surprised if Westbrook somehow ended up on the Lakers. I think it'd be cool to see him and K-Love team up again.

Any validity you had left when it came to the Lakers/Sports was completely lost with this statement.

    I would've recruited D-Fish before Farmar.

While D-Fish would have been a more popular choice they already have older slower PG's on the staff. At least Farmar is a younger athletic PG that has the speed to be able to keep up with the faster PG's in the league. Plus Fisher is at the point where he is just chasing rings, and he has to know that the Lakers aren't going to get it. However look for him to sign a 1 day or 10 day contract with the Lakers so he can retire a Laker whenever that day is.

The Lakers are already the slowest and most unathletic team in the league now, might as well pick up Fisher and drop Metta.

they are banking on the nostalgic season ticket renewals. "I liked that guy".

Clips with their numbers from the press conference today. Chris Paul is #3 if you didn't know.
