Kobe is also in the 'go big or go to Houston' camp

    Fuckin' Ainge does it again

Perfect hire for a franchise that is in overdrive on rebuilding
Stevens is solid and glad he got his chance at the NBA thru Boston
only issue I see with this is Rondo and the inability to play for a young no NBA exp coach
pretty sure he'll be traded when the time is right

I think the hire ensures the Celtics a lottery pick next season which is exactly what they want. Not that I think Stevens is a bad option or going to be a bad coach. I actually think he is going to be a good coach. I just don't see how a small college coach with no NBA experience is going to take a team that is in rebuilding phase and likely to hold out Rondo a little bit is going to make the playoffs. But the again the Celtics don't want to make the playoffs next season so I guess for the first time ever I want them to do well next season.

LA should do a sign and trade for Chris Bosh.

Rondo will be gone before the start of training camp.

Celts will get another first rounder for him and start the season with 2 or 3 backup PGs vying for the staring job.

2014 Lottery looking good right now.

I heard the Pistons have interest in Rondo, along with Rudy Gay.

I can't believe Utah really took Biedrins and Jefferson's contracts. The draft pick isn't going to be great.

    Yeeee

It took a first round draft pick to finally get rid of Biedrins. Totally worth it.

I dont know. This is all new territory for Warriors fans. We've never really been involved in such dealings before. Only when getting hosed.

Golden State fans want to get rid of Klay Thompson? The same Klay Thompson who had one of the best shooting performances in playoff history this year? I must be missing something...

Theoretically it is but the Lakers I don't thing the Lakers want to take on a big contract like that to fuck with their cap space next off season. Bogut is expiring and Klay/Barnes are still on their rookie deals.

It's not that they want to get rid of him necessarily but with Iggy added to an already crowded back court they have room to lose him.

Also Dallas officially out of D12 sweepstakes. Also they just said on the radio that Golden State was originally out also but after these moves they are back in.

I don't necessarily want to get rid of Klay, but with all these talks of getting Dwight for Bogut + one of Barnes/Thompson I would much rather have it be Thompson than a future perennial All-Star.

He's worth keeping in my opinion. They might play the same position, but Klay and Iggy are completely different players. Klay is a pure shooter while Andre will give you a little bit of everything (albeit not NEARLY as good of a shooter as Klay).

Apparently reports are out that Dwight is going to sign with the Rockets. At least according to ESPN radio. At least all the Dwight talk can now stop thankfully.

Just getting back to the hypothetical, Klay's game complements Howard's much more than Barnes. Remember when Orlando surrounded him with shooters and they made the finals? Imagine Curry and Thompson catching and shooting behind the line.

Parsons and Harden getting wide-open looks from the 3pt line coupled with Howard learning some real old-school post moves from McHale. Interesting squad, if they fill in the rest of the pieces correctly..
