Fuck man, good for them.
Also, I think Harden is too young with too much of an ego to remain a sixth man. In this day and age I don't think anybody that young, and that early in their career will accept less money in order to win.
It didn't look like LBJ had it to dominate a whole series early on in the playoffs but he did just that in the finals. He proved to me that I was wrong thinking that Durant is the best player in the NBA. Well deserved championship.

Yeah, he made some questionable coaching decisions, but this is pure class.
Yeah, that was pretty awesome of Scott Brooks. As much as I got more and more bitter about about OKC/Seattle thing, there are plenty of classy and likeable people in that organization. I respect the hell out of Sam Presti, and Scott Brooks has shown to be a class guy. Kevin Durant is one of my favorite players to watch. Probably 2nd behind LeBron. I think the only player I don't really like on the team is James Harden. His constant flopping started to ware on me.
Jesus, why does a spelling or word-usage mistake always have to overshadow the content?
Wear.
Fuck.

lul, the nightclub... what a dick.
Congrats to everyone on Miami Heat (even Juwan Howard and Ronny Turiaf). Can't say that I'm not relieved for that bunch, particulary James.
As for my Lakers, D12 and D-Will aren't happening. At this point I just hope they retain Jordan Hill, re-sign Sessions; pursue Nash and Brandon Roy. Old and frail, yet über-competitive -- just the way I like it.
That Lakers are a cap nightmare thats been waiting to happen since the new CBA. This is old news, but for the Lakers to really do anything this offseason, Gasol must go. That, along with sessions departure, MAY create some wiggle room. PG has to be their priority. All that said Vegas has them at 8-1 to win it all next year. Go figure.
<edit for clarification> Sessions has already opted out of his contract, he is a FA.
Dalembert to the Bucks.
Ray Allen to the Heat? Pau Gasol for Josh Smith? Harden to the Bobcats for Beal?
The Dubs are interested in: Gay, Marvin Williams, Iggy, Wilson Chandler and Brandon Roy.
Lot's of action going on right now.
Tommy, thought you might get a kick out of this:

Holy shit, does that guy make a lot of stupid points.
"However, Magic nearly doubled LeBron in assists per game - 12.2 APG to 6.2 APG - as Magic led the league in assists for the fourth time in five years.
While LeBron in 2012 had slightly better stats than Magic in 1987 in most categories, the two were at least comparable in nearly every category. But in assists, Magic dominated LeBron."
Wasn't Magic a point guard, and isn't that position the one that generally is called upon to dish out assists?
"On a Per-36 minute basis, LeBron James in 2012 was still statistically better than Magic in 1987 in the postseason in points, rebounds and PER.
However, Magic Johnson in 1987 was better on a Per-36 basis than LeBron James in 2012 in assists, steals, turnovers, and field goal percentage.
On a per minute basis, Magic Johnson was statistically superior in the 1987 playoffs than LeBron James was in 2012. After just watching LeBron dominate the playoffs, it is almost hard to fathom that in 1987 Magic actually put up better stats than King James. "
So LeBron has better stats in scoring, rebounding, and PER, but that's trumped by assists, steals, turnovers, & field goal percentage? What's especially galling is that Magic's superiority in both steals & turnovers was by .1 and .2 percentage points, respectively.
Is this simply to be expected from a Lakers homer?
Motherfucker, fucking Rockets.
I expected Marshall, but would've much preferred Lamb. Ah well. At least we didn't trade the pick for cash considerations.
Where'd the Rockets get all their picks from, anyway?
They got the 16th from the Knicks and the 18th from the Timberwolves.
I can't believe i didnt know the draft was on. I didnt see one ad. Any noteworthy trades?

So, Royce White and Kyle Lowry for Gasol now?
there is some nice banter about the Odom arrival over on Clipper Talk.

I may be missing something in the translation due to lack of local knowledge, but why do the New Jersey crowd always boo David Stern ? I'm not saying they should shower him with rose petals but is there a reason or is it just what the crowd at that venue have always done ?
This is only the second year it's been held in New Jersey, though Newark is around 20 minutes by train from Madison Square Garden in Manhattan, where the draft is ordinarily held. I believe it was moved to New Jersey because of the two-year summer refurbishment project at MSG. The last time it was held outside the area was in 2000, when it was at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
As for your question about the booing, no idea. We're just extra-obnoxious in this part of the country.
