KG's exit showed the type of great teammate he is. True competitor but also a great teammate. He knew that could have been his last game as a Celtic and he went went out with pride
Game over at Lebron dunk at 8 min mark in 4th Q.
It takes a fast car, lady,
To lead a double life.
Fuck Lebron and Miami. Go OKC.

My gut feeling is that OKC will win the series. They're just a better overall team, and they have home-court advantage.
That said, fuck 'em. GO HEATS!!
The Celts didn't have enough left in the tank.
This is going to be a hell of a good finals. Forget the politics of it all, we're getting the best players in the league going against each other, and that's great for the fans.
I was going to go to a boxing class on Tuesday night but think I'll stay home instead to catch game 1. This is going to be a fun series to watch.
Tommy, out of curiosity, what happened in game 6 of the Thunder/Spurs series that compelled you to say "fuck the Thunder"?
5/23 - QOTSA - Wiltern > Boris - Echoplex
5/24 - Boris - Echoplex
5/30 - John Talabot - Echoplex (?)
6/02 - Bjork - Palladium
6/08 - The Field - El Rey (?)

Before you automatically cast LeBron as the villain, would you rather have a player leave town or an entire franchise bolt?

I saw Clay Bennett, the owner of the Thunder, celebrating. He helped rip the Sonics out of Seattle. I just can't find it in me to root for OKC, knowing how shady everything went down to get them there. The Sonics were my favorite team for 16 years. I think this is how Browns fans felt when the Ravens started having a lot of success.
So, what's everybody's predictions?
I'm going to say the Thunder in 7. I think their line-up's versatility is too much for Miami to overcome. To me, Wade is the x-factor, he needs to score in the upper twenties if they're going to keep up with OKC's offense.
I really don't care who wins, I just want to see a great, seven game series. I hope KD puts up 50 one game, and LBJ puts up a monstrous triple-double in another.

Thunder in 6 or 7.. I'm so mad these are the two teams we have to chose from...I also cant believe I'll be rooting for the heat.
Wow, nobody is taking Miami? I wonder if the analysts feel the same way. It does seem like Miami is at their best when it's them against the world.
I know they have NO CHANCE... but Miami in 7.
EDIT* I actually do think they're going to win. Also, I don't want OKC to win for the reasons Tommy stated above.

I used to be a huge Lebron fan, I would watch his high school games on ESPN.. When I was in Vegas for qualifying for the Olympics I even bought a Lebron USA jersey...But then his cockiness got too much for me and I stopped rooting for him...But I hope they pull it out this year because of my even deeper hatred for Westbrook and Harden.
And did my boy, and Arizona resident, Wilbon take OKC?
He has ALWAYS been a very arrogant, cocky individual. That's how he was taught to be by his handlers and his mother. Dude used to roll up to high school and AAU games in a limo with an entourage and wear a jacket that said "King James" on it before half the country knew who he was. He's not a criminal or anything like that, but the notion that he became more cocky and arrogant after he left Cleveland is not accurate, it was just on display for the country to see.
This is pretty much when I stopped liking him, and I saw nothing wrong with him leaving Cleveland.
