Why do you think CP3 is better than Rondo?

Personally, I'd prefer Rondo's game better (FOR THE LAKERS) as a true 1; the other wily PG however, is a better scorer, arguably more clutch; more of an asshole if we're talking intangibles.

Yeah this season Rondo has turned into one of my favorite players in the league. Would probably be my favorite if he wasn't a Celtic.

Only reason I say CP3 is better then Rondo is because CP3 is a much better jump shooter then Rondo. Everything else I'd say is a tie between them.

An aberration? Rondo has 9 post-season triple doubles (tied with Wilt Chamberlin for 4th in NBA history). I wasn't surprised to see that he almost got his 10th tonight.

His shooting performance was an aberration. I'm still not convinced that he'll duplicate this kind of offensive output in this series.

I would agree with this, except for the fact that clutch doesn't exist. Rondo is quickly closing the gap, though.

Anyone who has played sports at a competitive level knows that your body during crucial points in a game can react differently, especially in individual sports like tennis where you have more exposure to such situation. If you have a poor mindset your body will stiffen up and poor decisions are made. This is what people call a choke. However, some thrive off of the big point and focus even more, hit harder, play faster, ect. That's what people are referring to being clutch.

Of course you could say that in the law of averages that person is just playing to his ability. So in that sense, being clutch really means the propensity not to choke in crucial points more often then not.

Was asked to play a game of ‘21’ on Memorial Day at the park across from Edison HS by a guy whom ended up shooting an airball freethrow only hitting the bottom part of the net, then corralled his own rebound playing on like nothing happened. I said “that’s a travel”. He intensely disagreed and started to get all huff & puffy about it (“not a travel” “I don’t respect anybody” WTF? Are we going to be fist fighting here shortly?). I ended up winning on a step-in-to-step-back twisting fall away three in which afterward he said “Nice shot, Kobe” and heard an audible gasp of disbelief from the cool asian guy with tattoos and a very sweaty back, whom beat me 11-8 in one-on-one previously, and ended closely with 17pts.

Researching it now, I guess HS and NCAA does allow for rebounding your own airball if the Ref deems that it was actually a legitimate shot attempt. But on free throws as well? Just seems so cheesy and shouldn’t be rewarded.

You don't think he'll score 40+ again in the series? Bold statement.

I'm only certain on NBA rules, but I know a free throw has to hit the rim. If it doesn't then the opposition gets to take it out of bounds

An airball on a free throw attempt results in a change in possession. It's different than a "normal shot attempt" airball - which can be rebounded by the shooter if determined to be an actual shot attempt. This is different in 21, though. I'd say your gripe is legitimate. (Nice win)

Man, I hope the Spurs lose. So sick of seeing Tony Parker and Ginobili flop around like fish. You guys see Westbrook dribble off Parker's face at the end of the 1st half (Parker then fell down like a little French bitch)? Loved it. THUNDER UP!!

I am shocked -- shocked! -- that the Spurs are looking mortal now that they are no longer getting two or three days off between each game.

It was insane at the Airport. It was pretty much impossible to get a good picture. You gotta be their early (we were), then you have a chainlink fence that you have to shoot through, but it gets shaken and banged on You have people shoving to get to the fence to touch the players as the come by. In fact a fight started breaking out next to us between some young teen girls. They also hussle through pretty quick and the lighting is bad. So basically If I go again I probably won't bring the camera at all. That said Harding rolled up in his new car like a boss and I snapped this somehow.

When the Bonnaroo schedule was released a couple of weeks ago, I was pretty stoked to learn they'd be showing Game 6 of the Eastern Conference playoffs in the cinema tent. As the series began, I was wondering if it would even make it to a sixth game. Happy the Celtics have helped provide me with an opportunity to sit around with a bunch of smelly hippies on Thursday evening.

Since I'm here this summer I think I might try and find a cheap ticket to the game tomorrow night. I haven't been able to go to any games this season.
