Well, Danny Granger hurt his ankle and David West suffered an injury. Granger tried to play on it, then aggravated it after grabbing LeBron's arm then getting tossed on the ground. Tyler Hansbrough did commit a hard (not dirty) foul on Wade. Then Udonis Haslem committed a hard (and dirty) foul on Hansbrough. The Pacers didn't have too much time to act like tough guys since they were getting beat down much of the game.

At the end of the game, Lance Stephenson ran in for an offensive rebound and Dexter Pittman elbowed him in the neck. He'll be suspended for a bit, not like it's a big deal.

Pittman elbowed Stephenson (who was crashing the offensive glass) in the neck during scrub time. He got him pretty good and should be suspended. Cheap shot and he winked afterward too.

Haslem knocked Psycho T in the 2nd quarter - which happened after Hansborogh fouled Wade pretty hard earlier in the game. I think flagrant 1s were issued for each.

Ah. I figured Stephenson would eventually get his in this series. Old school NBA indeed, Tommy.

Yeah, he was loved amongst the Suns fanbase. Shame we got rid of him. Oh, if I had a nickle...

He was my favorite player a few years back. That 4th quarter he had against the Spurs in the playoffs, one of my favorite basketball moments ever.

Don't be surprised if Dragic comes back as Nash's replacement. Then we'll see how much you really love him.

I'm not saying I would do it without question, but I would entertain the idea. Think of the trade value Kobe has and what you could get in return. Gasol too.

I'm pretty sure that Kobe has a no trade clause though, so it almost certainly would never happen.
I feel like we gotta trade someone. if not really unload everyone and start over. Whatever happens I think we might be back to the lean Vlade Divac, Van Exel type years for a while. I feel like Kobe doesn't pass, 0 assists in his last game, so no one else is involved. Bynum is an injury prone head case, Gasol disappears. Not sure if the bigs didn't demand the ball enough or get in the paint early enough in possessions, Kobe dominates the ball too much and doesn't look for them or it's the coaches fault for not getting them to play inside out. Ah well, at least OKC/San Antonio looks entertaining and someone might have a chance of stopping Miami.

According to a friend on FB, Pau Gasol's eating breakfast at the place across the street from my apartment right now. Quick, someone give me a question to go ask him. The first that comes to mind is "why are you such a fucking pussy?"

Ask him how hard it is not to clean Kobe's clock when he gets dressed down in the press and on the court.

If you ask him my question, make sure you enunciate "clock" as sharply as possible, otherwise he may think you mean something else.

The correct answer is llama, but ostrich is also acceptable.

Bynum needs to mature really quick if he is going to be the Laker's future. If he just realized his potential and played at that level, Lakers would be unstoppable. Maybe its because he didn't play college basketball? I have no idea what his problem is. I just hate it when every game is a flip of the coin if our two bigs show up to play. I think the past 2 years was an affirmation that our system doesn't work. It works fine for the regular season (to get to the playoffs), but we just dont have the right caliber of players to show up when they're needed the most.

Also, I've been listening to more 710 AM and I really can't believe that a Laker fan would want ANY Celtic player on their team. I would hate to see KG or Rondo (even though I love his style of play) to wear a Laker uniform. Its not that I hate those players, but it would kill the rivalry between the teams.

I'm hoping for an OKC vs Miami Finals.

Ok, I need some help from you all...I just sat next to someone on a plane who I'm SURE is/was an NBA player, I totally recognize him, but I can't for the life of me put a name to the face. Light skinned black guy, light eyes, super short hair, probably 6'4"ish, has a tattoo on his right forearm that says "Father Forgive Me" with hands clasped and a nail going through one of them.

The flight was from Phoenix to Los Angeles. Does this ring a bell to anyone?
