Skip Bayless was the only Espn pundit who thought the Bruce Irvin pick was a brilliant move by the Seahawks. This has clouded my opinion of a man I'd written off as a meritless blowhard, and "venturing into Skip Bayless territory" doesn't mean the same thing to me as it did last week.

The rule is that if you play with another good player, you should be disqualified from the MVP race. Unless you're Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Moses Malone, Karl Malone, Julius Erving, or Steve Nash.

A valid point. The NBA doesn't like to give that award to players from shitty teams, and Lebron is a respectable choice. I just remembered you saying something in 2011 about how Lebron is the MVP every year, people just get tired of the same person winning repeatedly. You've stuck to your guns and I found that funny. I can see why you would think I'm just a complete blind LeBron fan and that clouds my judgement, so fair enough. Hah. He had possibly the best all-around season of his career and led them to a 12-1 record without Wade. He was the constant influence on the team even through injuries. And he produces more wide-open shots for his teammates than any player in the league.

Tony Parker should get a lot of pub for having an awesome season himself. I hope he gets all-NBA ahead of Chris Paul, and I'm a huge Paul fan as well.
