I've never been to an NBA or Warriors game in my entire life though i've followed the warriors since the RUN-TMC/Chris Webber era but still consider myself a very casual fan at best (basketball is my last priority in terms of sports). Its only been until this season that i've started to respect basketball again after a very long lapse so this talk of a team moving to San Jose puts me in a very awkward position. Do I stick with the team i've followed since I was 8 that has a great history with unfortunately no championships to show for it in nearly 4 decades or do I embrace the possible transplant team that will set roots no more than 5 minutes away from my house who will more than likely buy their way to a championship within its first several seasons (they will thrive in san jose. don't underestimate the lo-fi skyline and general nerdery)? I guess I need to get my ass to a warriors game first before I make any rash decisions.
You know, ever since I read the report about Ellison I've been wondering the same thing. I think I would have to stick to the Warriors, but I'm sure my bitterness would swell up eventually. You're right that a San Jose team would do very (VERY) well and would most likely buy themselves a championship while the Warriors could very well end up just being the same...old...Warriors.

The more I think about, the more I think stupor has a point. Someone on the radio suggested that, if he was at all worried about it, maybe he should have had Jerry West speak or something instead of him. I think Lacob deserved to speak and should be allowed to speak if he wanted to, but maybe it wasn't the wisest choice after such a divisive trade. I still disagree that it has anything to do with the state of the franchise and everything to do with Monta and Udoh.

Haven't seen a team play as well together (pass, rebound) like the Bulls in a long time, especially impressive without Rose, but I still don't know if it's good enough to beat the Heat.

They're one of the most dedicated fan bases and seemingly never get rewarded. Throw in some ceremony trying to artificially create pride in the organization during a tanked season and I dunno...I'd be pissed.
You raise some very valid points here. But it's still pretty classless of the fans to do that during a ceremony. It was really uncomfortable to watch on Sportcenter.

Their defense was LOCK DOWN last night against the Magic. The Bulls are a damn good team.

I'm predicting Nash nets 10 assists even with that Heat defense.

Jazz beat Thunder last night just 2 days after shutting down the Lakers. It's a good time to be a Jazz fan. 4 in a row.

Knicks streaking!!! 5 in a row... if we can win games scoring 80 points, we can do anything. Somehow we learned to play some defense!

    Dear Kobe Bryant,

Please consider playing a bit more like Sessions. You know attract defenders then dish out the ball to your open man. We all know you can score. Lakers fans from all over would be very happy to not see you go 4-24 shooting.

    Respectfully,

Solid game by the Lakers. Great ball movement. Sessions was good on assists. Kobe did well even put up a top ten worthy no look circus shot. Defense was sharp. If the Lakers did this consistently I would have more confidence that they can be championship contenders this year.

It certainly helped with the piss-poor shooting the Knicks were doing, especially in the second half. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. That was an important win.

Yup. Huge win. We seriously might pull out the top spot in the Atlantic division and avoid Chicago or Miami in the first round.

Clips 7-11 record since Chauncey went down. Rumors of Del Negro getting the can after the road trip. Only twenty games left in the season, so I'm not sure I see that happening...yet.

I said the week before the season started that the Clippers would miss the playoffs. Almost there.

    This was incredible.

I haven't seen the last couple games, but it is a little baffling that Bynum doesn't get 15+ FGA's per night.

HUGE game tonight. If we win:

We own the tiebreaker against Denver.
Move to second In the NW.
Move to eighth in the west.

also, I forget, does division rank supersede a series win in the case of tied records for playoff seeding or is it the other way around?
