3 looks manufactured? I don't see that.

also #1 is pumpkin awesome.
It looks like one of those designs from a template.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
oooh. Well so does number 2, really.
#3 looks like a llama doing an impression of "serious cat".
For your health
Dude. It is clearly a vampire. Look. It has a sharp, pointy teeth.
I vote for Charlee.
And for those too lazy to look it up:
Rule two: Don't steal pictures from the internet and say they are yours. To make sure I know you're really the one who took the picture, put a salt or pepper shaker in the picture with your pumpkin. I know. It's weird. But it's something you all have at home, and something that isn't likely to be in all the pumpkin pics floating around on the net.
At some point in time a man switches from "I'll have what he's having" to "I'll have what I'm having."
well i dunno. it has a sharp pointy tooth so I took it as a pissed vampire horse.
I mean, you'd be pissed too if you were a horse that was also a vampire.
llama, horse, whatev.
The pumpkins belonged to Miscorrections, Cpt. Funkaho, Thefunkylama, and Mountmccabe, respectively.
Congratulations, Alma. You can has victory.
yeah it's a llama.
also I made the pattern from a photograph of a llama that was significantly friendlier in looks, but which was about to devour a small child. I made a template on my computer, made it look like an angry horse with a moustache and a sharp pointy tooth, and then carved. It took for freaking ever. Thank you, board.

I think it's just the picture. I had to take it with my phone, because my regular camera was uncharged. It could also be due to the fact that instead of just carving the shape and leaving it like that I cut the inner thickness on a diagonal so it wouldn't show and there would only be the outline with no depth. And used three tea lights for illumination.
Actually John, I thought yours was very clever. Corinna and Funkaho did really well on their pumpkins too, and it was an honor to compete with you.
As for the pig in my pumpkin: it is, in fact, a squeeze ball salt grinder for sea salt. I didn't notice that it looked like a pig until Bug said so and now I see it whenever I look at it. And yes, I have the matching pepper mill.
Mine is on the left.
Shit, my image didn't work.
