I love how Stuart is startled by their own loudness:
*based upon tedious fact checking.
that was pretty amusing
I do wish the rest of the band would get into it as much as Stuart

They did Mogwai Fears Satan at Coachella 04?
I still count hearing My Father My King as the second best live song I've ever experienced, behind Sigur Ros doing Untitled 8 at the Hollywood Bowl. They played it for almost 40 minutes, and my clothes flapped in the noise.
From Mogwai's website...
"Happy New Year
Happy new year to you all from all of us Mogwais. 2008 is setting itself as being a very busy year for us. this will be in stark contrast to 2007 which was pretty frustrating, idle and disappointing to be honest. Next month we go into the studio to finish recording our record. Its getting mixed in March and with any luck it'll be all done by the summer so that we can get back to playing concerts. I haven't had jet lag in ages, i can't wait!! "
Looks like they will start touring sometime in the summer, a few people from Glasgow on alot of the Radiohead boards have been confirming them as an opener this summer for Radiohead on their tour, but I'd definitely take that with a grain of salt...Although it would be fucking awesome.
No kidding. They played Coachella but skipped LA, SD, and Phoenix last time they toured here. They told me that they would be swinging back through later in the year, but they dropped those plans to work on the Zidane soundtrack (while awesome, I would have rather had a tour). Hopefully they make it up to us.
For your health
