First CD I ever bought was Nirvana's Nevermind back in 1997 after I finally got a discman...prior to that, I was listening to cassettes that were given to me.

I got my first cassettes for Christmas, probably 4th or 5th grade: Billy Joel's An Innocent Man and Men at Work's Business as Usual.

Yesterday I bought All Hour Cymbals by Yeasayer and the self-titled debut by Wooden Shjips.

1st CD? A bunch of stuff from BMG, but the only one I remember was Salt n Pepa (lolz). This was back in 1994 but for the next year I mainly purchased tapes (Nirvana, Green Day, NIN, Boyz II Men [lolz], Pearl Jam, etc).

Most recent CD? Blonde Redhead - In An Expression of the Inexpressible, but more recently I bought the brilliant Asobi Seksu - Stay Awake 7".

Next CD? I don't really buy CD's, but CD's will come in that In Rainbows discbox, so that. I plan on buying all three versions of the Asobi Seksu - Strawberries single for 5 pounds

I am editing this to make it less dull.

first CD - ?? CDs didn't even come out til after I grduated college. I assume you mean first album..

first LP - Bachman Turner Overdrive II. I was 11. I still remember the circumstances. I had saved up the $4 needed to buy an album and went to the store (probably K-Mart) and looked for the album cover with the hairiest, roughest looking guys on it cuz I figured that would be the loudest music.

Also I remember the very first song -- Track 1, Side 1 -- was a song about getting a blow job, but at the time I wasn't really sure.

most recent? I dont' remember. Gogol Bordello maybe.
