I'll be 40 by the time the NEXT (08) Coachella rolls around and that will be my 5 th one, on top of 15+ Bumbershoots and hundreds of other shows... Don;t have to be a teenager to enjoy the festivals!! It's just the experience that helps!

Had no cash till past ten years or so for such things but now I do Bonnaroo and Coach and whatever else I feel like doing. Next few years will involve a trip to UK for the summer fest circuit and I'm happy as can be about it!

Age is all a state of mind...except that your body does hurt more after multiple days of standing, dancing, drinking and having a great time!

I'll be 19 at the festival, and even tho i'm a young one i hope to see more older people there, cuz these kids cant get on my nerves... all of the old people I've met at concerts were the coolest ones neway, and they always have lots of stories and wisdom, haha

I was 21 for my first Coachella in 2004 and security didn't believe my ID was real...and I was almost 22 by that point. This has been a recurring theme, but hopefully this year they won't laugh at me and tell me "there's no way I'm 21."

I get that a lot outside of Coachella too, though...

Back in your day when all the good shows were at the Palladium,Roxy,Whiskey,Troubadour,Viper Room etc. And if you were a big band you played the Forum and that was the place to be right?

yeah sf chrissy, its a trip that at 36 im better then i was at 26. maybe cuz i have more dough to spend and can now actually enjoy these things without worrying"ok do i buy food or one more beer?" lol trust me for all u under 26 i ve been there. have fun and enjoy it!! it gets better..
