I saw that. Hopefully they can tackle The Beatles/Radiohead soon.

Of course, but I still think that the music should be available to others. That, and I like having the covers of the albums displayed on my itunes, and it's a pain in the ass to go out and look for suitably sized JPGs on the Internet. And I would also be kind of curious to see which Beatles tracks are the highest selling, they have so many great songs.

Radiohead already made a deal to have their catalog available as digital downloads, all as full albums, no ''singles'' as in just single songs to sell. So screw iTunes.

That is true except for the fact that iTunes is more widely known and more people would be able to discover Radiohead. Also iTunes is much easier to purchase albums with because you only have to sign up once. i do not know. it could be easily debated both ways.

Yeah, the idea that I had in mind is that random people might see Radiohead in the recommendations list on itunes or something (I know I've gotten into bands that way), or through some other means on itunes. Those kind of people aren't going to be reached by 7digital.com.

this LZ on iTunes thing kinda stinks.

All that's available is "Mothership" (a greatest hits package) and "The Complete Led Zeppelin" (boxed set of all their albums). So if you want "Misty Mountain Hop" you gotta buy a $100 box set that includes "All My Love" and other drivel. If you want "When the Levee Breaks" you gotta get either the $100 boxed set or the greatest hits package that doesn't include "Misty Mountain Hop".

I like "Misty Mountain Hop", btw.

I dont think Radiohead cares about the whole reccomendations thing. Their music is available digitally and thats that. Deal with it.

Oh, I'm sure Radiohead doesn't care, and I have all of the albums so it doesn't really matter, but as a fan of music,

    A. lots of people get turned onto Radiohead through itunes

    is better than

    B. those same people never listen to Radiohead because they can't be bothered to go out and physically buy the albums and have no idea what 7digital is, or whatever reason

It's pretty simple. Radiohead clearly doesn't care about itunes. I care about Radiohead. Therefore I care about as many people as possible listening to and enjoying Radiohead. itunes is something that would probably spread Radiohead to more people. Not much more to it than that.
