Whew! FSOL have been on the Coachella wishlist for ever now. I got into them back in 1997 with their Dead Cities album. I have yet to hear another album from anyone that sounded like that did.

They just came out with a new album, no? At least that is what my friend told me when he handed over the CD. Alice in Ultraland I think it is called? Have you heard it?

They were scheduled for Coachella one year but dropped off, they really should play in 2008!

yes, i recently dl there 19 album collection. very groovy stuff. especially their side project, Amorphous Androgynous, which released Alice in Ultraland in 2005. I think itd be a lot better if GV snagged Amorphous Androgynous, but i would easily see FSOL as well.
Superfan will be in front of the Fonda masturbating furiously to a photo of him taking a photo of a band. Set is from 8:05 to approximately 8:05:15. Guest list only.

They just released From the archives vol 4 last week. It's up on bleep if you want to buy it or listen the samples. The From the archives albums are compilations of unreleased tracks, remixes, etc. It's not much psychedelic like some of their recent works, but mostly dark stuff (especially vol 2 and 3).

ISDN is still one of my favs...... my friends always joked that the noise prevalent in Track 1 sounds like someone farting into an empty Folgers can
