Deloused is one of my top 5 favorite albums of all time. With that said, if their new songs are to par with the rest of the album then it has a good chance a beating Deloused

Its was cool seeing them play it start to finish live. They are such a talented band. My only complaint is about how they improv so much live, sometimes you just think " Fuck, is this song ever going to end".

Goliath is not a new song, they played that song last year at Vegoose.

"Goliath" and "Aberinkula" are awesome. I love the sax on the latter track and how heavy "Goliath" is. The first track has some killer drumming but didn't do much for me.

i just hope that's not a comparison of the two, most Volta fans i meet are so disspleased with Frances. I think it is an absolutely incredible album. I like Deloused and Frances equally for different reasons.

I didn't think Frances was as bad as most people. I love "L'Via" and a couple of the other tracks on there. It was less focused than Deloused, which meant it didn't flow as well. I thought Amputechtre was really bloated. It had its moments, but I cannot think of one song on there where I thought "Wow, this is killer".

I think the tremulant ep is just as good as deloused even though its only three songs, three damn good songs.

My rankings..

1)De-Loused.. Awesome debut, tightly structured songs..

2)Tremulant ...I think "Concertina" is one of their best songs off all albums

3)Amputechture.. I lil' overblown at times, I do like the middle part of the album.. "Tetragrammaton" and "Meccamputechture" are solid.

4)Francis.. The least accessible and even a little difficult to listen to at times. I do think it has it's moments, but it feels like more of a concept album to me..

deloused was awesome. frances had that awesome opening track, but blew otherwise. amputechture was god-awful. and these songs sound pretty mediocre.
