Stephanie came home late last night and mentioned when she walked in that there were a lot of bunnies on our front lawn. This morning, as I was backing out, I noticed a dead bunny on her side of the driveway.

Aww that sucks. We have tons of bunnies in our neighborhood too, they do get run over easily.

My mom live in Lakewood, NJ. Normally she'd be at practically no risk for flooding but with this storm and the fact that she lives right next to a giant drainage ditch for her planned community that turns into a lake which sometimes reaches all the way up to her back door even just during a hard rain, it seems pretty inevitable that sh'ell have to be evacuated soon. There's a bunch of other old bags there in her community and they're all keeping tabs on each other, making sure everyone stays safe. Last communique I had from her was just "boy you kids don't know what you're missing out there, this is great. I'm going to bake another dozen cookies and watch this town sink. =)"

The confession is: there's a part of me that would really like it if she didn't survive.
