Any ideas on when the line up/tickets go on sale for 2008

Anyone know when the tickets and line up are announced?! we are about to book our contiki tour around europe and our accomodation etc in palm springs but just want any info i can get on around about when they line up and tickets would go on sale? I would be devastated if we missed out but hopefully it will be all good!! YEWWW

line-up early next year, usually january. tickets on sale a few weeks after that.

The lineup will be announced a few days before the general ticket sale (not the pre-sale, that always comes before the lineup is announced).

I love that presale, I spent as much on the presale this year for 3 days as I did on 2 days in '06.

I am buying presale this year for sure. How much was the presale last year? $199? Saving $50 is still a big deal. And who does the presale go through? Ducat King right? Dont they also charge less of a service charge? So make that $50 more like $60-70 off regular ticket price. Am I right?

It's has (almost) always been the last weekend of April, first weekend of May, but the 30 of April is a Wednesday. So, is it gonna be April 25-27, or May 2-4? I want to know personally, 'cause I'm planning a trip to Barcelona the day after Coachella, and don't know when to book a flight! Any help, P.F.?

And I imagine hotels would know too, because the number of rooms that would need to be reserved in advance for the performers and workers of Coachella must be obscenely high.

Im hoping to jump onto the coachella wagon this year but coming from Ireland im wondering will I have difficulty getting tickets? My local ticketmaster wouldn't sell id say and the US version seems to be asking for Zip Codes! HELP!!

It just means you pick them up at the entrance on the day. The presale tickets were posted internationally last year, which saved me a 5 hour queue experience.

Why are there such lucky people getting free tickets? I take it its for US citizens only?
