Yeah, Kansas sucks....... So(in theory) if it all goes normal form here on out, the national championship game is Mizzou vs West Virginia, talk about a ratings grabber!!! but odds are Mizzou loses to Oklahoma and its OSU vs WVU and USC plays an at large selection which could be Oklahoma or maybe Florida.

Well Mizzou is # 2 now for sure after the computers do their work. More losses next week will make this nice and tricky. USC is going to jump 4 spots or so in the polls and BCS ransking.

There is NOTHING that DOESN'T suggest Mizzou is one of the best 2 teams at this point. They barely lost to Oklahoma earlier this year and they've gotten better. Looked real good tonight.

Yeah the more I think about it - it will be tough for Mizzou to beat Oklahoma again, esp after the Kansas game - if they do - they deserve everything they get.

WVU - also deserves to get to the national game

Mark on ESPN College Game Day, just said the 2 best two teams in the country are West Virginia and Ohio State. That match up would be a killer ticket in these parts. When Reese asked Lou Holtz to name his top two teams, he just named 6 or 7 yeams. I really have a hard time listening to that guy.

WVU beat a bunch of nobodies who also beat a bunch of nobodies. They also lost to a nobody. They'll be the same as untested Kansas. Playing nobody of significant merit until the get embarrassed on national television.

I hope they're smart and pair up Hawaii and WVU, because that would at least make for an exciting match up.

Our best game hope is the Rose Bowl - USC vs OSU - again as someone pointed out - the real national championship.

After watching USC pound ASU, they are for reals, Scary good, they seem to be clicking and they happen to be much healthier now.

Though most sports writers seem to be picking a WVU vs OSU national title game (Oklahoma is favored next week, thus taking Mizzou out of it) I think a USC vs OSU match up would be much more fun to watch.

If this year has taught us anything its:

1. your best bet is just don't lose, strength of schedule isn't as costly as losses late in the season.

2. anything can and prolly will happen this year.

I like how many 2 and 3 loss teams are above Hawaii in the rankings that came out today.

I like how Kansas is still being treated as if they're a good team.

I like how the Coaches are 6 votes smarter than the writers:

1. West Virginia (37)
2. Missouri (17)
3. Ohio State (6)

vs

1. Missouri (45)
2. West Virginia (20)
3. Ohio State

And because Delta's banned, and was always living in the moment, I'll argue that the national championship should be Hawaii vs Missouri, because you can't deny (even with multiple facts to back up your denials) that they're the two best teams of the year.

If tOSU can sneak up to the 1st or 2nd spot with a Missouri loss, here's what I want in the realm of possibility:

WVU vs. tOSU for the marbles
USC vs. LSU for the roses (finally the match up everyone wants...go Tennessee)
Hawaii vs. Tennessee for the the sugar
Arizona State vs. Oklahoma for the fiesta.
Virginia Tech vs. Missouri for the oranges.

There's some goodness left. If tOSU get screwed by the polls, we get USC vs tOSU (unless UCLA wins and Oregon and Arizona State manage to lose again...ugh).
