You need a new hobby. This one's turned you bitter.
You guys are funny.
We all know the 3 non conference games are just a tune up for the Bucks - so what? They're in state games and a lot of politics (and money) goes into scheduling those, way ahead of time I might add. The BCS is the last thing they are thinking about when Akron gets put on the schedule. It hurts us a little in public opinion but that's something you can win through, unless you are Michigan, who will always have the App State game on their backs this season. Too bad, cuz Michigan is a lot better than most people think they are.
Back to Ohio State. The fact is we've won our games. We've had a couple of opponents ranked, some not ranked. It's funny that no one says shit when Washington was suppossed to be a big test for us - then it was Penn State being a big test, next it will be Wisconsin, then Michigan. Blah, blah, blah... I'm so sick of it - OSU is fucking good - deal with it. Penn Sate is a tough team, esp at home, and we basically wiped our asses with all the white out shit they turned out last night. The Buckeyes fucking killed them, a top 25 team, no less. Funny how no one says shit about THAT. It's all we haven't played anyone. I say, shut the fuck up unless you are undefeated at this point, because it sounds like a bunch of spoiled crybabies who have lost their shot at the title. Blame the BCS system instead of blaming the Buckeyes schedule.
So, all the Pac 10 teams (or as I like to call it - the no defense league) go ahead keep saying we're not that good. It's pretty tired by now. Shit, USC plays fucking Stanford, and guess what - they got beat. Stanford would be a laughing stock in the Big Ten - maybe the Big East even. If you don't play in the SEC, then you shouldn't say shit about toughness, and even then, I think it would be smart to keep your trap shut. So are there more "Stanfords" in the Pac 10 than the Big 10? No, not this year. The Big 10 isn't as strong from top to bottom as it's been in years past, but that does not mean its not a tough conference. Going undefeated is a hard thing to do - no matter what conference you play in (except if you're Hawaii, cuz you truely don't play anyone).
Suck it - suck it hard and suck it long.

toms video was no longer available so here you go
Deal.
BUT - you really can't compare. You have to figure in how Mich and OSU play each other - they leave it all on the field for the biggest rivalry in college football. Oregon and Michigan was a bit of a mystery for both teams. In the end not only did michigan get outplayed - they got out coached and out scouted. If Ohio State went out and killed Oregon State, I wouldn't say they were automatically better than Oregon just because Oregon didn't beat them as bad. Does that make sense?

^when did oregon state come into the conversation?
his point was that Oregon State and Oregon are rivals. And Michigan and Ohio State are rivals. You can't compare scores from game to game, and you really can't compare rivalry scores.
So if Ohio State beats Michigan by a score differential less impressive than Oregon's early-season thumping of Michigan, it holds no merit. Just as if Ohio State were to destroy the Oregon State Beavers on a level greater than what the Ducks do.
