Um, sorry Awkerville River, looks like Iron & Wine is going to take the rootsy album of the year award.
This SHIT is GOOOOD. And I've never been a big follower.
I will queue it up for next. It hasn't grabbed me. "Boy With A Coin" is good. Some others, too. But overall it just seems like I&W except less distinctive.
But like I said I'm gonna listen to it more.
"House By the Sea" is great stuff.
Also I am not sure I would consider The Stage Names to be "rootsy."
Presently unzipping. Impressions later.
DURrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. fucking retard.
Yabs, please don't get all butthurt, but this album is redeemable for a one-way ticket to snoretown.
Is the new Iron and Wine anything like Our Endless Numbered Days? That's the only cd I have of them and I like it alot.
i love me some iron and wine
I like wine, but I don't feel all that strongly about iron one way or the other
