    Default Employers that dont send w2s

    A company that I worked for last year has still not sent me my w2 form. I have called them 3 times and they tell me I will get it before the tax deadline. I am now calling the IRS to report them. Has anyone else had this happen to them? What have you done?

    you should do just that. arent they supposed to have it to you by the 31st of jan.? keep calling. give us their number, ill call too. seriously.

    Correct. They are legally obligated to have your W2 to you by Jan. 31st. Report them.

    I just got off the phone with the IRS and they will be contacting the ex employer.

    Marooko I will love to give you the number to harass them but I dont think that would be going about getting my forms.....lol

    i dont either, i just like to tie up companies that think they can do whatever they want. i almost got the police called a couple times. hahaha.
