If I could pick one band to play at your incredible festival, it would be Type O Negative. In my opinion I think they are a perfect band for the festival. And I also believe they are suitable for a headliner for the 2nd or 3rd day. Please consider this band for the line-up next year.

Yah, no way could they headline but I'd love to see Type O at Coach, fuck it. That shit still kicks ass, even if Pete Steele is an INCREDIBLE asshole. As long as they played their cover of Cinnamon Girl (it's better than Neil Young's original, sorry--how many bands can say that?).

Yeah, I wish I had thought of that "Gothic Metal Stage". Pull all the threads now - Underworld, Cure, Portishead, Smiths (never got that one yet!), Radiohead, Daft Punk, tOOL = perhaps 2009, but nice try chaps.
Jesus son we got shot down in flames for even mentioning a Punk Stage and we even threw in the Specials. This is a family event for christs sakes!! Every time I switch this fuckin machine on there is yet another whacky thread! No offence.

Not a bad idea as just being IN the festival but wouldn't have the strength to be a headliner at this festival anyways....I would like to see some metal put into the line up...why not Acid Mothers Temple? (Not metal per se but would blow any metal away.....)

OK, if they cant play well live then why are you ''SUGGESTING'' they even perform, let alone headline such a big festival as Coachella? Wrong festival for sure though. Ask the Osbournes cause they will need somebody like that for next year since it wont be free.

its just not that kind of festival very few metal bands can play and the only ones off the top of my head are Mastodon and Boris. I mean why mess with a formula that works and mess with the vibe of the festival?
