I agree... too much Beastie hate. Although, I have seen them twice in the last year ( near the front at the "secret" Fonda show last year, and the first of the two Greek Theatre shows last week ), so I'm not ready to see them as a Coachella headliner until at least 2009, just because I'd like to, you know, mix it up a bit and see bands I don't get to see all the time.

If I had to not see a band up on the Coachella main stage again, it'd be Rage and Coldplay.

But I do agree with PassiveTheory... this is a pretty damn negative thread.

No Doubt arent amazing or anything, they are just a really fun band. I wouldn't freak out and buy tickets to one of their shows if the reunited and went on tour... but if they were at Coachella, I would definately go see them.

And I dont know if GV would book Foo Fighters to headline... but it wouldnt surprise me if they were on it next year. I wouldnt complain either. The Foo Fighters put on a kick ass show! Both electric and acoustic.

I have heard even from fans on the Beasties message boards that their Coachella performance was not very good at all. Although every time I have seen them, they have been awesome, not to mention pretty funny.

Interesting to note, but that same year ( 2003 ), the Black Eyed Peas played. I kept the flyer from the show ( being a Beasties fan, but not being able to attend ), and that shit floored me.
