My picks are:
Ben Harper (not headliner material, but he has polluted the main stage during prime time slots before)
Jack Johnson (ditto)

Make that 2 votes for no Smashing Pumpkins.
They suck live (even as the original lineup) & always will.
Keep it in the Studio Billy
whats up with the Beastie hate? I wouldnt want them as headliners...id rather see a Gala event type shit in a tent or outdoor theater....
Eric Prydz: EP/IC: 11/29 @ Aragon Ballroom
Coachella: 4/11-13 @ Empire Polo Fields
If I had to not see a band up on the Coachella main stage again, it'd be Rage and Coldplay.
But I do agree with PassiveTheory... this is a pretty damn negative thread.
Pretty much everyone that has already been mentioned.
Boring of Canada. Fuck all y'all.
Beastie Boys already stunk up Coachella with their hour of inane political ranting sandwiched in between non-classic, crap new songs and records flying all over the place.
I for some reason believe that Foo Fighters are going to be at Coachella in 08. I dont know if they are going to headline but i have a feeling they are going to be there.
As long as the rest of the lineup is consistent to Coachella lineups of past....I really dont give who headlines.
ana cana punar
No to Foo Fighters, no to Another DJ taking main stage.
2011 Wishlist: Soviet Soviet, Swans, Heroin and Your Veins, Lower Dens, The December Sound, Scarlet Youth, Faunts, Bad Lieutenant, The Besnard Lakes, The Raveonettes, Screen Vinyl Image, Sway
Basically, the only people I dont want to see there next year are... The Smashing Pumkins and Coldplay. Fuck both of them!
Why all the hate for No Doubt? Did you all hate them before Gwen went solo?
No Doubt arent amazing or anything, they are just a really fun band. I wouldn't freak out and buy tickets to one of their shows if the reunited and went on tour... but if they were at Coachella, I would definately go see them.
And I dont know if GV would book Foo Fighters to headline... but it wouldnt surprise me if they were on it next year. I wouldnt complain either. The Foo Fighters put on a kick ass show! Both electric and acoustic.
Interesting to note, but that same year ( 2003 ), the Black Eyed Peas played. I kept the flyer from the show ( being a Beasties fan, but not being able to attend ), and that shit floored me.
i agree with all bar oasis coldplay and foo fighters
