    Default No CamelBaks?

in the rules section of the website, it says that no camelbaks are allowed inside the show. is that accurate?

and if they don't want outside beverages brought in..could i bring in an empty camelbak and fill it at the drinking fountains?

Technically it's been aganst the rules, though I've brought an empty camelbak in before, and filled it once inside, and nobody hassled me about it. I did kinda tuck the hose inside, so it wasn't obvious.

I think their main concern is someone bringing in a camelbak full of vodka or something. I'd bet that if you have an empty one, you'll get it in

You might be hard-pressed to find any drinking fountains tho... i found a hose spigot behind a concession stand one year, but couldn't find anything like that last year, except for the misting oasis... but i didn't want that gross water because i think it's just recycled over and over - not fresh

they make a killing selling bottled water for $2.

aight, cool. $2 bottles ain't that bad. i'll probably just bring in an empty camelbak and see what i can do inside. just tryin to stay hydrated.

I'm really happy with $2 a bottle. Some places can get up to $5, which is just ridiculous. You can get a case of water from Costco for $5.

The drinking fountain water is horrible though. Plan to bring enough cash for multiple $2 bottles of water.

I've found bringing in those big water bags to be ***tty easy, and while the water from the fountain is not necessarily cold it does the job later in the day.

i brought my camelbak (empty) the last 2 times, and no problems. i guess if it was full they might give you crap about it. i just buy a couple waters when i get in and try to keep it about 1/2 full. beats standing in line when you get thirsty. now if there were a way to piss w/o a line, things would be almost perfect

i went last year and it really pissed me off when they were confiscating sealed bottles of water at the entrance , guess the organisers are just interested in making a buck rather than ensuring that people are safe in 90 plus degree heat

isn't peeing an issue when you're waiting at the front to have a good spot for a band? especially if it's the headliner?

I need someone to tell me where exactly these magical spigots are ...

SEE MAP and please explain in a detailed fashion

I'm planning on taking a camelbak as well, and don't want to fill it it up with 2$ bottled water (kinda defeats the purpose). Furthermore, I drink tap water all the time. Mahalo.

I figured the raindrop icons were fountains ... not spigots. People talk about spigots hidden to normal view where you won't encounter any lines. Those are the ones I seek. Any ideas?

The water spigots near the camping entrance often have a shorter line that the ones next to the ATM.

The amount of time you're going to wait in line to get to that water, you may as well just buy a $2 bottle. I mean....come on....is $2 really going to break you financially? It's actually a very reasonable price too. Come to the UK and buy a bottle of water at a festival and it's more like $6. You've got a good deal.
