Talk about the genius-ness that is the non-Anime Adult Swim lineup. I will get us started off nicely here:
Brand new 90 minute Futurama direct-to-video movie in November! First of four of these planned.

wait...no more anime???
YEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!
5 Minutes to Kill Yourself = best time waster ever
I like that show Drawn Together. Is it coming back? The combination of random characters makes for a weird combination. I also liked the Boondocks for all of the political rantings against the mainstream establishment. I wonder know how the show will deal with a black president.
There are a couple anime adult swim series that I like, but make no mistake it is all about
Harvey Birdman! Respect for 12 oz mouse, venture brothers, moral oral (amazing show), robot chicken, the aquateens and more so much more...
Robot Chicken was funny, but I have not seen many episodes. they should revive Ren and Stempy with the original animator.
Ren and Stimpy has got to be one of the weirdest cartoons out there. I used to watch it with my daughter on Nickelodeon (on Nick at Nite). (I am not sure how they got away with aiming this at children.) I think I've seen every episode several times. Would love to see it revived.
I guess there were several video games also; Veediots was pretty good.
Aqua Teen is no doubt great, but I wish it would get more back to its roots. The over-the-top gruesomeness kind of bores me.
Venture Brothers is the best thing on Adult Swim right now.

Morel Orel was fucking fantastic. But Robot Chicken FTW

its hard to make it through an entire show of this (xavier renegade angel), but its pretty enjoyable in small doses. makes you think you're losing your mind.
we had some kind of adult swim fair set up in the middle of our campus a month ago - i came away with a bird beak and a snake hand puppet and was gonna be xavier for halloween.. and i could've gotten away with it if it wasn't for xavier's meddling reverse knee bend!
the he-man one is pretty funny
I loved Squid Billies...always struck me as a show that goes beyond drugs and it takes place in Georgia (hehehe, live in Atlanta)
SuperJail is another one I have recently gotten into.
And how! Even my girlfriend is as obsessed with Venture Bros. as I am. Hell, even her mom watched (and enjoyed) some episodes with us.
I wanted to be a Monarch Henchman for Halloween this year but ran out of time. Opted for Robot Jemaine which was easy and quick.
Oh crap, I almost forgot I was Frylock for Halloween in '03.
I want these shoes!

Venture Bros. is one of the best things to come out on TV in years and years and years. The plot, characters, jokes, animation, backstory, nuances, etc. are all top notch.
I agree about Venture Bros. It's highly underrated and is one of the best shows Adult Swim has to offer.
I'm not a big Metalocalypse fan, which is too bad because I liked Brendan Small's work on "Home Movies" earlier this decade, which I thought was excellent.
Robot Chicken can be occasionally amusing, but for the most part it thinks it's a lot funnier than it is.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force has its moments, but it can get a bit repetitive after awhile.
I thought I'd hate the Boondocks because creator Aaron Macgruder is a white-hating pinko, but the show is actually funny and is as critical of black culture as it is of white culture.
Family Guy has been better than it's been given credit for. It was a little better prior to its 2005 comeback, but there hasn't been a big dropoff in quality. I also like American Dad, though I agree it is still inferior to Family Guy.
Futurama's two DVD releases so far have been a disappointment. The first movie was okay (but not great), while the second pretty much sucked. The biggest problem here is the fact that the new characters being introduced aren't funny or interesting, and the story lines are flat. There were so many brilliant and creative "side" characters in the original series -- Lrrr (from Omnicron Persei 8), Zap Branigan, Amy Wong's parents, the mutants, Calculon, etc. We see no such creativity in the new DVDs. Hopefully the third installment will be better.
Moral Orel tries too hard to be offensive and isn't actually all that funny.
I wish "Mission Hill" had done better in 2000 when it aired. Only 13 episodes were made, but the show was really entertaining and had surprising depth to it. "Oblongs" was also good, and suffered a similar fate.
Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.
Al Gore's middle daughter Kirsten wrote for Futurama when it was on Fox. I do not know about the cable edition.
I agree with almost everything you just said.
Oh, I thought it was a cable edition. As Alicia Silverstone said in Clueless, "my bad."
Any other fans of "Drawn Together?"
