Oh, they are really cool. I am sure you have heard at least Lebanese Blonde (if you have seen Garden State and/or heard its soundtrack). They are definitely worth checking into a little more. If you like downtempo music with a Middle East/Indian flair, you will love them.

really fantastic. They sound a lot different than the albums they put out. Good world music dance regage techno hip hop pop. Lots of great things all mashed up for one hell of a party. I think I even enjoyed them than the Flaming Lips who they opened for at the Hollywood Bowl.

It's my hometown, born and raised there for 24 years. And I worked in a few hotels. You can find great hotel deals off the strip. The Orleans or the Hard Rock are nice without the price. Just stay off the strip.

I wonder what will happen when the Hard Rock moves to The Strip in a few years. Thats the plan from what I heard. And The Hard Rock has deals too when it comes to certain events, you just gott keep checking. Like you could get a nice room for half the price.

Thanks, I'll check them out. When I say affordable, I mean less than $100 if at all possible. I guess I can just stay Friday and Saturday night and after the Sunday show, just hang out at the airport or bus station. This is in the event I don't have a buddy to travel/stay with, of course.

Off the strip, I expected. But being close is important, if only for the shuttles. The vegoose site said they would have shuttles going from spots along the strip and back.

Yeah I am with you on that, good casino vibe and room service is fast too. And you dont have to worry so much if you were staying there and then went to a show at the Joint, you could get hammered and just have to stumble upstairs and not pay a cab and get ripped off.
