Things that freak me the fuck out!!!

the following sentence is from an actual news story I read online today. from a relatively reputable news source. And it's creepy, particularly with its nonchalance:

This wouldnt exactly "freak" one out, but would scar them for a while.

Earlier yesterday, my friend and I were driving downtown on a fairly busy street. We all of a sudden noticed that traffic had slowed down, because there was a small black dog running down the street in the middle of one of the lanes. At this point he was in the right lane; running faster than traffic that had slowed down for him. So he ran forward and into the middle lane, and tried to cross the rest of the street. He ended up running beneath an SUV, and well... got hit. He wasnt moving (or might have been, but very very little, I cant really remember). I immediately stopped the car, as did everyone around me, and just kind of sat there shocked. A few seconds later, we started to drive again, very slowly, still trying to comprehend it all. As we were driving away, I saw in my rear view mirror a lady running towards to scene. She must have been the owner...

My day hasnt been the same since.

I hate to see wandering animals, especially dogs. I just assume that the above scene will be their unfortunate demise.

I saw a beautiful German shepherd wandering up an on ramp toward the 405 fwy. I tried to get him/her to turn around -to no avail. It will haunt me forever.

i was driving on a semi busy street by my house one day when everyone started slowing down and eventually jumping out of their cars. a woman and her two little boys were hit by a car. the boys were about 2 and 8. it had just happened because no emergency vehicles had arrived yet. the littlest boy was in a stroller and i can still picture it all smashed up beside the boy. it was the worst thing ive ever seen. a few days later my dad read in the paper that the mom and one of the boys died.
i think about them everytime i see someone jaywalking. i hate it.
