they were fantastic in 2004!
2004? i saw them in '05...they were great then.
sorry ... 2005 ... you are correct ...
oh, and this thread should not be in the lineup forum ... bad masks ...
well i am hoping for their appearance in 2007's lineup, but i don't know if they're touring or what. i guess i'll do some research in the mean time
Theyre playing "Big Day Out" in Austrailia...
They're def. a possibility for Coachella. Im sure they'd do it if asked. They destroyed lollapalooza two years ago.
They were good at the Fonda!!
aren't they playing Glastonbury this year?
Thanks, vinyl. That was a phenomenal Mvideo.
they were FUN in '05....i was very impressed
Have any of you heard the new record though? Its kinda not good. Didnt give me the same feeling as the first. Too arrogant.
well if there's any possibility of them coming to coachella, i'd love to see it. im excited to hear that there is in fact a chance
I'd agree that the 2nd album is no where near as good as the first.
Saw them 4 times in '05 (coachella, lolla, twice in Denver including Red Rocks) - Good shows.
Saw them last fall for the new album in Denver and the crowd wasn't that into it. Must be tuff for them playing to such small audiences in the US (club tour, not festivals).
Anyway last time I saw them was wondering how they would perform some of the new tracks w/horns, etc.
There was one song with a trumpet solo or something (doberman?), and you can plainly hear the trumpet coming from the PA, but no trumpet player on the stage. There was guy behind one of the speaker stakes playing it off a laptop - very disappointing.

small tour that - hard to bring a whole horn section - it didn't bother me that much. The stuff from the new record goes off very well live.
The Glitter Freeze
Coachella 99-10 Vet, the run has ended in 2011
yeah - it was sort of a budget tour - but at least try and rework the song, skip it or something
I don't think they needed an entire horn section - Tom or Serg should have played it.
i really like doberman. if they actually did play that with horns, that would be sweet.
bring kasabian to coachella!
I'd LOVE to see them at Coachella again! Come on GV!
