God loves drunk people.
sam adams (lager/summer ale/winter lager/cherry wheat)
smithwicks
red stripe
anchor steam
brooklyn lager pennant ale
My top 5 in random order, and Lost Coast is not a bear it's a brewery in Eureka that i have never tasted a beer from that i haven't liked. They have this Rasberry Brown Ale that has great berry flavor and scent but the beer taste isn't overpowered by the berry flavor, their best bear is Downtown Brown though for sure.
Delerium
Chimay
Leinenkugel
Newcastle (my usual)
Sierra Nevada
Lost Coast

hmmm top 5 beers...
1) Rogue Hazelnut Brown (YUM)
2) 4 Peaks Pumpkin Porter
3) Sonorans Vanilla Porter
4) Snake Bite (half guiness and half pear cider if that counts)
5) Micholob Amber Bock (cheap and tasty)
I miss when I could afford to be a beer snob, I wouldn't drink anything domestic other than Amber Bock, but now I have learned to enjoy Miller Lite because I can get it for 3.50/small pitcher at my local bar and it actually tastes like beer unlike the others.
Really? I have always found miller to be worse than everything but coors, accept Miller High Life. If i'm drinking cheap i go with either PBR, Natrual Light or Miller High Life, i just feel that those all taste better than all others. I have yet to try any of these new bears that budweiser release like the bud light wheat and budweiser american ale, but i am just not a fan of bud.
My current favorites:
Smithwicks
Dragon Slayer
Anchor Steam
Kona's Passion Fruit Wheat
Hoegarden
Bitch Creek
Pretty much every Winter Ale
Hamm's (when I'm partying or drinking cheap)
god damn, there are a lot of beer threads on this board.
my current three favs:
Allagash Curieux
Piraat Ale
Trappistes Rochefort 10
I tried the american ale, it tasted like ass. Don't bother. I have heard the wheat isn't bad but I have never been a bud (beer) fan either. The bar I go to also has PBR's for $1.50 a can but I just can't bring myself to try it. I see people poor salt in it, I always figure if I have to put lime or salt in my beer to cover up the flavor I don't want it. Hefeweizen being the only exception, but only with lemon, what's with this orange shit.
mmm

It's just a nice addition, i put them in my blue moons when i have them. I enjoy blue moon with or without the orange, but it is a nice refreshing twist. I have never seen anyone put salt in a PBR before though, but i guess when bud light came out with that lime beer crap people just started adding things to every beer.

I have had blue moon with the orange, it's ok, but I prefer the actual Hefe over the blue moon and I just don't like that with the orange, but have seen people do it. One thing someone talked me into trying is a blue moon with a shot of orange vodka in it, or amber bock with a shot of vanilla vodka. It brings out the orange/vanilla flavors of the beer with an extra kick. Although I don't recommend having more than one like this. UGH

Sierra Nevada made this special Pilsner just for the Phish Festival 8, it was excellent and I drank it all weekend. It's named after a Phish song and I want some more of it.
Edit:
I also had some of this all weekend too from the tap. It was great as a default beer: Magic Hat #9
