Golden Road's 9.2% Darts Away DIPA, a collaboration with the brewery and the fine folks at the bar Tony's Darts Away, is among the very best of any IPA I have ever had. Very hop-forward, but also very balanced and not a palate blaster at all, with almost a hint of sweetness to it. Incredibly drinkable and totally delicious. These guys have really created a winner this time!

It's a super overrated subpar beer but its popular here. Part of a variety six pack.

Hell is far from overrated. Most people I know think it's meh, so I would say it's underrated. That shit is fucking great when it is hot as hell out.

Just grabbed myself a growler of Hoppelujah from my local brewery Fitger's , a 7.6 abv IPA. Aromas of blueberry, grapes, grapefruit and peach.

Someone in our camping group last weekend brought four or five bottles of this with him, and I was in absolute heaven trying it (or any sour beer for that matter) for the first time:

I know New Belgium is late to the game on the whole Imperial IPA craze, but their Rampant IPA is enjoyable. And at $6.99/six pack the price point is spot on (plus the $1 off six packs coupon from Total Wine makes it $5.99!).

    Oooh this sounds amazing.

Speaking of coffee beer, at Tony's Darts anniversary party I had an Eagle Rock Solidarity with Intelligentsia coffee beans - absolutely delicious! the coffee taste was incredibly present and delicious. It smelled like a cup a coffee too.

Ok, so I had Rampant on draft a few weeks ago and it tasted delicious. I bought a six pack and cracked one open and it's friggin nasty. Almost like the opposite of the Rampant in draft form.

So my dad had his birthday party last weekend and as a gift he got a world beer type of deal. Now my bad is very particular about the beer he drinks so he had one, didn't like it and then proceeded to give the rest to me. Anyone have any of these before?

I'm gonna try to get my ass up to Mammoth tomorrow at some point. They've released two imperial lagers brewed with coffee, Dos Osos and Tres Osos. The Tres Osos was aged with oak chips soaked in tequila. The brewer told me last time I was up there that it's his favorite beer they brew, so I've gotta find a way.

Sour beer is my thing. Has been for a while. Love me some Duchesse. Try some Monk's Cafe asap. You will love it and it can be found at BevMo or similar. And Cantillon has some great ones like Rose de Gambrinus but good luck finding it.
