I had my first Ruthless Rye of 2013 last night. It was wonderful.
Also, for all my AZ people, Hopslam 2013 will be in stores on Monday.
Fresh off his "JUICY AUSTRALIA TOUR"
So i found a great brewery in Temecula which I personally think is the best out of the three I have been to Wiens, Black Market Brewering Co., and Ironfire Brewery.

This brewery is started by a few guys that left Ballast Point Brewery and they have several speicalitly beers besides their flagship beers and a few barrel aged beers.I highly recommend check these guys out. They have an amazing Imperial Porter with avocado honey aged in Crown Royal barrels that I thought was very noteworthy to seek out as well an Coffee Stout and a session-able IPA flagship beers. Also their logo is amazing

It is seriously so fucking good. I hope the rumblings about it becoming a year round release come true.
Great weekend for beer in San Diego. Went to the "tion" night at O'Brien's on Friday. They had 19 Russian River beers on tap (Compunction, Perdition, Mortification, Rejection, Supplication, Consecration, Happy Hops, etc. etc.) as well as the Societe and Alpine beers brewed for O'Brien's anniversary. So many killer beers. Then yesterday was the BA Numbskull and Kopi Luwak Speedway release at AleSmith. Great stuff.
What a lovely thread. A lot of microbrews up here in Portland. I'll have to give a rundown in a couple days after I grab some examples.
Holy shit balls a Symposium beer!!!! Gazercmh is always showing whos boss on this thread ...when are we going have a beer?
Do they sell any good beer at Costco La Quinta?
Bevmo is better?

The Symposium beer was good, and it was cool to try it, but it was probably my least favorite of the sours they had. The Compunction was the treat of the night, for me.
Let me know if you're ever in San Diego and wanna grab a beer. Or if you're going to the second weekend of Coachella, we can drink some Cantillon out of Big Gulp cups in the parking lot lol...
If you are asking specifically about bringing stuff to Coachella for camping, your best bet is Bevmo because you need cans and you're only going to find like Coors light and MGD in cans at Costco. They have been getting much better at bottled beer lately though (but I can't speak about that location specifically)

Thanks Drinkey.
I'm not camping and I prefer bottles than cans.
I'd better go to Bevmo but I'm considering Costco because my wife might be interested in comparing it to the ones here in Korea.
I just hope they have some nice selection other than Bud Lite or MGD.

Best quality beer (in cans) to bring to the campgrounds?
I know it's somewhere in this thread, but I figured there may have been some new ones pop up recently.
There are really tons now, so it depends on what route you want to go. I went with really high ABC stuff last year, so I had a bunch of Oskar Blues' G'Knight Imperial Red, which is 10+%. A bit of a mistake for 100+ degree second weekend, but it got the job done and tasted great at night. 21st Amendment has lots of good stuff in cans. Both Anderson Valley and Big Sky Brewing are canning their highlights, so those are good options as well.
I think there might be a thread for this question already; let me see if I can find it.
EDIT - here we go, this is from last year: http://www.coachella.com/forum/showt...highlight=beer

Mentioned in the linked thread above, but I'll tell ya, a great canned beer on a hot day is Avery Brewing Company's White Rascal. ABV at 5.6%, so it has a kick but won't take you down after a couple. Bevmo carries it. Delicious.

Sculpin cans are due soon. Dunno if they'll be out in time for Coachella, but if so ...
For 2014, we should have Alpine and Pizza Port beers in cans.
