    Default Wall of Sound Festival

Has anyone seen this? Looks like a pretty snazzy little festival. Anytime you have Explosions headlining, that is a good thing. It's happening in Ft. Worth on September 22.

    Here's the lineup:

    Explosions in the Sky
Spectrum featuring Sonic Boom (Spaceman 3, E.A.R)
    Ghostland Observatory
    Midlake
    Pinback
    The Books
    Bobby Bare Jr.
    Om (ex Sleep)
    Peter and the Wolf
    Lymbyc Systym
    The Timeout Drawer
    The Sword
    The Baptist Generals
    The Paper Chase
    Ian Moore
    Black Tie Dynasty
    Eleven Hundred Springs
    Pleasant Grove
    Record Hop
    Brothers and Sisters
    Red Monroe
    Doug Burr
    Dove Hunter
    Current Leaves
    Ghosthustler
    White Denim
    Hogpig
    Oliver Future
    Spitfire Tumbleweeds
    Lions

There's a good deal of stuff that'd keep me happy there. Man how I loved last year's line-up, though. Didn't go then, either.

I saw Lymbyc System open up for the Album Leaf a few months ago and they were really interesting. Just two dudes. One on drums with some triggers and another dude with about 3 keyboards, yet the sound was very full.
I am going to get so blown to Cypress Hill while they play.

being from denton, if i had to pick either dallas or ft. worth to live (and i've lived in both) my vote would definitely be ft. worth (better museums, zoo, bass hall, parks, vegan food)
