Since we have had a couple disappearing acts I figured this would be a good thread to start. So let's see, as of right now Bojones and We Are Scientists are suddenly out of the lineup...am I forgetting anybody?

So apparently WAS have responded to their disappearing act as a "jump the gun" issue on GV's part, sucks man, I really wanted to see them, apparently they are busy recording, go check their site out for details.

Only 32 artists on the bill for Friday.

that's about 6 bands per stage (give or take a few more on one). I guess either

A) The bands are gonna have much longer set times
B) The bands are gonna be way more spread out
C) One of the tents (gobi? mojave?) is going bye bye

I guess I wouldn't mind that so much, provided the fenced-in field area was still the same size and the two remaining tents were way more spaced out.

But my gut feeling is that it's going to be

B) The bands are gonna be way more spread out

With some stages sitting empty for longer periods of time.

Since the official Coachella press release said gates open at 11 a.m. each day, I don't see how. Would they want people sitting around for hours on Friday with no music?
