Depends on your adventure level. There's plenty of cool outdoors stuff to do around here - hiking, kayaking, mt. biking, pinball, beer consumption. Where exactly will you be - downtown or the burbs?

I always point my visiting friends to the Marqueen Hotel. It's a reasonably priced place, fairly classy but way cheaper than what you'll find in the heart of downtown. It's a couple blocks from Seattle Center, which is a good starting point for any first time visitor.
