I can't get around calling Mesa Amp a small venue. I consider the Marquee (at 1000) a large venue.

yes they would work quite well, especially if you enjoy being stuck in traffic.

Yikes! My non boyfriend sees them all the time in his house. I've been in AZ for 13 years and can honestly say I've never seen one. Now June bugs? Fuck those guys. I'll leave the house if I so much as hear one.

    Meh. Perception.

The Glendale Arena is a large venue.

So I guess Mesa is medium sized.

we probably get 2-3 a year in the house here. I got stung once. That was not a fun occurence. i was barefoot in the garage and stepped on it. got me on my 2nd toe. hurt worse than anything I can remember. the whole toe was dead numb for a week.

I assume it was in the washing machine because it was hiding in the pile of clothes I had just put in there to wash.

Wow seriously? That's impressive. What part of town are you in? My parent's house seems to get at least 3 or so a year.

I had a scorpion on my hand once, but it didn't sting me. It was dark in a room and I was sitting on a floor at my friend's place in Mesa. I moved my hand and felt something wrapped around my finger. I picked it up to see what it was but it was too dark to see. I must have moved it back and forth like 4-5 times. It was yellowish, so I thought maybe it was one of those wirey things you close off bread with (no idea why I thought this). I put my hand down, and it started crawling up my arm. I knew it wasn't a sandwich wire thing and flung it off. Sure enough, it was a young scorpion. I didn't sleep well for days.

If you have scorpion problems, I am not sure what the name of the stuff is, but they have glue traps that attract scorpions to them and then they get stuck and die. They work excellently.

Honestly, I have no idea. I work for an airline so I fly for free. Cheapest will be on the low cost carriers-either Southwest or US Airways.

Same for me. I've lived in Phoenix (36th and Cactus), Chandler, and Scottsdale. I know we had some in our area in Chandler (the house was a new build, so guaranteed there were some), but we always got the house sprayed once a month for them.

yes that was my intent. ha ha.

but seriously which event do you think is more likely?

    (a) a cutting edge, reclusive, iconoclastic pair of electronic innovators plays a rare US show in Phoenix, Arizona.

    (b) an old, overweight, out of date midwestern heavy metal band plays to a group of old, overweight, and very out of date ex-hippies at an indian casino in Phoenix, Arizona.

Also, I just bit my tongue hard enough to bleed. I hate myself. I should not chew gum.

Garnett might come to the Suns.

Its a three way trade with the Celtics and Timber Wolves.

    Suns get Garnett

    Celtics get Shawn Marion

Timber Wolves get 5th overall pick and other players (unknown at this time)

I don't care about losing Marion because of his disappearing acts in at least one series in the playoffs.
