ya, that was awesome. It was funny how after every song Doug Martsch would go, "thanks" and thats all he would say...he's such a badass.
sounds about right.

looking to purchase:big brother skateboarding magazine back issues. travis bean tb1000s electric guitars.
I wish there was a youtube of the overrocker from stage right.
I don't think anyone's commented, so my $0.02. I thought the lineup as a whole was stronger on Saturday (and I'm not really that into electronic music), but stronger headliners specifically on Sunday. I was not impressed at all with Thievery Corporation or DJ Shadow. The rest of the lineup was great though.
I felt like there was a better vibe/attitude for the crowd on Saturday too, less crowded, friendlier. Was really pleased to see people actually dancing -- like, a sizable part of the crowd actually dancing for the M.I.A. and Shadow/Cut Chemist sets. Sunday... not so much and it was far more packed.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but everything was run very efficiently... very minimal wait for the shuttle to and from the island, no lines at the entrance, quick ID check, even lines for port-a-pots not bad. The only line that looked bad was for the ATM (and I can't imagine not going to one before you go to the festival). Only thing I would complain of is that I didn't think the food nor selection of food was that great.
I didn't even stay for their set, just had this feeling that it would not be memorable. Built to Spill and Spoon pleased me so much that I didn't want to leave on a mediocre note, you know?
Looking back, I am OK with that decision after hearing everyone I know that went say the set was not good at all.
I have never seen "Time Trap" live! Also "Stab"! Awesome.
If there was a vote on what Modest Mouse album should be Don't Look Back-ed I too would pick Lonesome Crowded West but I'd be very happy with This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About and I'd still want to see the Moon & Antarctica
I wish..
