It has been confirmed on the Arcade Fire boards that they will play at the Hollywood Bowl on September 20th. More info when its released, until then, holy s**t.

I have a feeling it will be...since they were just in LA at the Greek. And playing with the Phil seems to be the trend these days for hip indie bands like Decemberists and Belle and Sebastian (I kind of wish I went to that one).

Awesome! I saw Belle and Sebastian with the Philharmonic, have tickets to Bright Eyes with the Philharmonic, trying to raise money to see the Decemberists, and now need to see the Arcade Fire.

There is no such thing as GA Pit tickets for the Hollywood Bowl. The Pool Circle its all assigned seating. And if it was all "normally" priced, it would be $125 for the front seating sections.

I wasn't too far away from that spot for Massive Attack, and the sound was actually pretty good. It wasn't too loud, which was unfortunate as we had a bunch of loser stoners blabbing the whole show.

Yeah, I'd be pretty concerned about the talking around there. They should do the $5 cheap seats like they had for the David Byrne/Arcade Fire show.

They kind of cant since its a lease event and not a KCRW show. Lease events cant afford to have tickets that cheap.

Nobody knows anything, all we have is confirmation that they will play, nothing more. I dont expect an official announcement until after Glastonbury or something like that.
